Our family has a long, storied history of clandestine alcoholic beverage manufacturing and distribution throughout our NC mountains….with the “tax man” lurking in the shadows. Revenuers Red, a luscious mix of 2-row, Caramel and Special B malts accented by four separate British hop additions, pays homage to our forefathers who were just tryin’ to scratch out a living. Don’t fret – we have been “legal” since 1999 and Revenuers Red Ale can be enjoyed in the open!

This classic sweet stout - named after our brewer's Dad - is made with 6% oats which gives this stout its velvety smoothness. The finish is predominantly roasted with a hint of chocolate malt. The overall sensation is a lighter tasting, roasty smoothness. Enjoy!

Cock back your musket and get ready for the red coats! This IPA is designed to be the first shot of the American Brewing Revolution. Hopped with Citra and Amarillo all the way through to the dry hop, this beer comes across loaded with citrus and melon flavors to back up an assertive bitterness. We’ve dialed back the specialty malts to let the hops shine, but added just enough to accent them perfectly. Light-bodied with a beautiful orange color, this beer may have the British thinking twice about what they gave up.

Poor old misunderstood brown ale... It is perhaps the most versatile style of beer in the world, but is often overlooked. Why? Does the word brown lead the mind towards less appetizing things? Is it because the colour brown is less sexy than, say, 'golden'? Or have the mass brewing companies driven the style into oblivion by claiming it for their most unattractive products? Mull that over while you sip this beer, either in the sun, in front of the barbie, with your afternoon steak and kidney pie, your Sunday roast, or just by itself because you're thirsty and deserve a treat! Chances are that this is unlike any brown ale you have ever tasted: it's malty, hoppy, roasty, flavoursome and refreshing. Some might say it's Brown Ale 'redefined', we'd say it's REWIRED. Cheers! The recipe varies slightly from batch to batch but includes: Gladfield pale malt, munich malt, crystal malt, caramalt, chocolate malt, oat malt. Hops are NZ Pacific Jade, Cascade and Pacifica.

Our only named beer to date. Its' honorary status is in tribute to its' designer, Allen Rhoades, a fellow brewer who captured a blue ribbon at the Western Washington State Fair when it was entered as a homebrew. It's everything a stout should be. Rich and hearty, not thick and overpowering, comes complete with a creamy head. Chocolate and crystal malts along with roasted barley combine to create the wonderful flavor. Compliments deserts well: try one in place of a cup of coffee.

This beer is brewed with hops, a variety of malts, our proprietary yeast – the same yeast we’ve used since first brewing Harpoon Ale – and more hops. A lot more hops. Centennial and Chinook, and the dry hop addition of Falconer’s Flight add a multidimensional hop character, and the combination of Pale, Rye, Caramel 60, Flaked Rye, and Vienna yield a complex malt body that stands up to the spiciness of the rye and the pronounced hop flavor.

Richard Cranium Rye is a Belgian Blonde Ale brewed with Rye. Light yellow to gold in color. The flavor is a combination of Belgian yeast, biscuits, citrus and a crisp, slightly spicy rye flavor and all at 6.5% ABV. So support your local Brewery and grab a Richard Cranium!

This antique light golden pilsner won a bronze medal at the 2016 Alabama Craft Beer Championship, and in 2017 was awarded a gold medal and 2nd for "Best in Show." It is influenced by German and American traditions, much like the German immigrants that founded Cullman, Alabama in the late 1800’s. A local merchant found a hand written beer recipe in the attic of his old downtown building in Cullman. The recipe was found with other personal items of William Frederick Richter, who owned Richter’s Saloon in the late 1800’s. The mixture of English and Old German was eventually translated and resurrected, and now it is our flagship beer!

IPA stands for Indian Pale Ale and has its origins in the export of beer from England to India. For over 100 years ago Englishmen realized that the beer they shipped to India could be bad before it arrived. They then set up more hops and delivered it with a higher alcohol content than the original product, to improve sustainability. Ricky's IPA is a Northern IPA brewed in the same way, but with a little less hops content than IPAn had 100 years ago. Ricky's IPA is torrhumlad in order to obtain all hints of hops.

Dark American Amber with strong flavors of caramel and roasted malts. Balanced with just the right amount of Cascade and Golding hops for a sweet but slightly bitter ale. Named after our dog Hailey.

If Maris Otter malt is the body of our beer then hops are its spirit. Each year we choose our hops not just by farm but by individual garden and time of harvest. One older variety, Challenger, and one new,Boadicea,used as unprocessed whole leaf hops. Extravagant, perhaps, but delicious.

This beer is brewed with 2-row malted barley, a small amount of caramel malt for color and sweetness, and tons of late addition hops. It has almost one and a half pounds per barrel of Cascade hops added into the whirlpool for both aroma and flavor. Also, another one pound of Amarillo, Simcoe, and Cascade dry hops were added late in fermentation for aromatic qualities of the finished product.

Created in the mid-nineties, Riggwelter is our flagship Strong ale. We wanted a beer with real strength and depth so we developed a unique recipe built around rich espresso aromas, dark fruit and roasted malt flavours which lends itself perfectly to putting in a bottle.

They should be good men; their affairs as righteous... Made with Rye malt to provide a signature and distinct earthy character. Seasoned and dry-hopped with herbal and citrus hops. Truly Righteous.

This beer has a medium hop profile and flavor and is light red-amber-copper to light brown in color. It has low to medium caramel sweetness and a medium body.

Made with fresh Jalepeno, Habenero and Serrano peppers this beer packs a spicy kick. The peppers are added to the boil kettle and into the fermentation tanks at a rate of one pound of peppers per barrel (31 gallons) of beer. This is a great pairing with ribs or other hearty foods where you need a little kick.

If the river were made of beer, it would run amber. First brewed as the house beer for our Santa Fe based steakhouse, Rio Chama Amber Ale has become a cult favorite. This easy to drink, yet flavorful ale is brewed with a blend of pale, toasted and caramel malts. Its spicy, dry hop character complements the malt with a nice balanced finish.

An American Lager, brewed and then we add Whole Roasted New Mexico green Chile and steep in the beer for 7 - 10 days. Low hop profile, leaves you wanting more.

A ruckus of complex flavor is carried in on the amber glow of torchlight. As tension builds between hop bitterness and the malty tones delivered by locally grown and malted grist, a perfect balance is achieved. A traditional “Strong English Ale”, a reddish amber bitter, malty but refreshing hoppy high notes on the taste. Can be enjoyed all year round

Amazing dank hop flavor of an IPA, but the easy drinking nature of a pale ale is the greatness behind this ambiguous brew. Hefty whirlpool additions of Citra, Mosaic and Amarillo hops make this unique ale burst with ripe tropical fruit, freshly squeezed citrus and resinous pine. The finish is distinctly clean, crisp and hoppy, with a restrained bitterness.

This fresh, German inspired ale has a golden color with a cracker-like malt profile. Couple that with the perfect balance of floral/spicy German hops from St. Cloud's sister city Spalt, Germany and we believe we created the perfect session beer with a crisp, refreshing finish.
