110K+OT Batch #2 I.R.I.S.

110K+ OT Batch #2 is an Imperial Stout dry hopped with Mt. Rainier hops and aged on toasted Spanish Cedar. I.R.I.S. stands for India Russian Imperial Stout and while this brew is still all stout right down to its hefty body, it is hopped a great deal more than our standard stout offerings. The extra punch of kettle hops balances the rich chocolate and malt notes and the Mt. Rainier dry hopping adds slight licorice notes while the cedar contributes to a moderately spicy, burnt and bitter finish. 11.4% ABV. Bottling run 87, 12 bottle cases. 110K+OT Batch #2 I.R.I.S. is a capped 750ml

110K+OT Batch #2 I.R.I.S. - Cherry Hazelnut Cacao Nib Bourbon Barrel

A Cherry, hazelnut and cacao nib aged version of Bourbon Barrel 110K+OT Batch #2. We added cherry puree, raw hazelnuts and Peruvian cacao. Big cherry notes up front which quickly segues into chocolate, vanilla and lightly boozy bourbon notes. It’s an after dinner/fireplace kind of beer so, shove some ice in your undies before you drink it to get that cold weather effect.

95 Cab Ride

95 Cab Ride is a Cabernet inspired mead produced in collaboration with Sergio at @melovino. Named after the Interstate that links our Meaderies from Florida to New Jersey. The concept was to produce a mead that blurs the lines between mead and wine and truly comes across as a red wine. There was a catch, we would not use grapes in the mead. So we deconstructed the flavors of red wines a bit and blended black currants, blackberries, black cherries and blueberries. We chose desert Mesquite honey for some earthiness and then aged the product on French Oak staves for a few months. The goal being to elicit the same woody character you might see in a nice French Bourdeaux. I’m pretty tickled with how this one played out. It definitely hits the target of a red wine. The French Oak aroma wafts gently from the glass. The color is deep red with long, long legs. Great fruit with some acidity as you might expect from the currants. Medium tannins to hold it all together. Bold but most importantly it’s dry. We wanted to make a “with dinner” mead as opposed to an “after dinner” type beverage. In this regard, we nailed it. If there was ever a mead that was a candidate for aging, this is a good one. #WontBeLong #ComingSoon #garagistemeadery #meadinflorida

Big John -

Inspired by the epic skyline of Chicago, Goose Island’s brewers set out to craft Big John; a tall, bold slugger of a stout that stands out vividly against the little soft beers out there. Epic amounts of roasted malt and an addition of cacao nibs give Big John a massive chocolate flavor and aroma. With a body as substantial and black as the building to which it pays homage, Big John is sure to inspire a sense of awe with every sip.

Bohemian Riot

In 1838, after nearly 600 years of inconsistent and poor quality beer, the people of Pilsen (an old Bohemian town) began an upheaval throughout the city, dumping full barrels in the streets to show their dissatisfaction. The city officials formed a city-owned brewery that would begin brewing only bottom-fermented beers. Lagers were born. This classic style is built on a simple grain bill, brewed with traditional lager ingredients delivering a clean, light-bodied style. Noble hops add slight bitterness while allowing the distinctive spicy and piney aroma characteristics to show through. With a crisp, dry finish, this style is best enjoyed in warm temperatures.

Bramble Rye Bourbon County Stout

At Goose Island our brewers take every opportunity to experiment with new ingredients and aging techniques. For this edition of Bourbon County Brand Stout, they aged the classic recipe in rye whiskey barrels with raspberries and blackberries from Michigan. The result is a powerfully rich beer with notes of tart fruit and jam that fade into the warm spice of a fine rye whiskey.

Cafe Con Leche Stout

BEER DESCRIPTION Sweet, roasty and always invigorating, traditional Latin American cafe con leche coffee can be found nearly everywhere in our hometown of Tampa, Florida and serves as the inspiration for our Cafe Con Leche Sweet Stout. The beer is made with bold, strong coffee beans to emulate the most characterful Cuban espresso and lactose, a milk sugar that adds sweetness, body and flavors reminscent of scalded milk. Despite it's assertive flavors and full body, our sweet stout is deceptively low in alcohol, making it the perfect accompaniment to a late-morning plate of eggs, bacon and tostatas. TASTING NOTES Malted milk, chocolate and fresh-ground coffee aromas bring to mind the finest cup of caf? con leche coffee while flavors of toffee, semi-sweet chocolate and a touch of roast on the palate are complimented by espresso and a touch of vanilla
