Distant Land

Belgian Saison brewed with Flaked Oats and fermented with our house saison strain, then package conditioned naturally with Brettanomyces claussenii 6.2% abv. A late hop addition of Mosaic lend to the tropical flavors produced by the B. claussenii. Distant Land is an ode to the melding of classic Belgian beers, with new American brewing techniques. Lightly hoppy, lightly funky to help get us through the long nights of Winter.

Grains and Taps Collaboration- It is a well known fact that the founders of Crane Brewing Company were fermenting inspired ales in basements and garages long before commercially producing any beer. Revisiting these homebrew roots, Crane has collaborated with local homebrew supply store and craft beer bar, Grains and Taps, to produce this barrel aged wild brown ale.

Queen Bee (Peach)

The Quee Bee is a series of flavor additions to "El Super Bee." In this version, we've added hand-picked and hand-squeezed peaches sourced directly from east Texas' own Winona Orchards. The base bre usesTexas-sourced honey, french saison yeast and a hint of rye malt. The peak season peaches adds an Eadt Texas accent of juicy sweetness and a good helping of tang.

Springboard Summer Ale

For inspiration for Capital’s Springboard Summer Ale, head brewer Wade Hurley looked towards the American wheat ales of his homeland. Not to be confused with those of Europe, American wheat ales use a cleaner yeast – no clove and banana here, although he did add coriander seed to this one – and tend to be more hop forward, while retaining a lean body. Springboard pours a light golden with a substantial haze, with orange aromas first to leap from the beer, in part thanks to the orange peel in the mix. As it's consumed, other fruity characters appear – mandarin and some tropical fruit – while there's an underlying honey sweetness (there's honey added too) and a slight lick of spice to connect the hop forward flavours.

Pilot #2 is bursting with the grapefruit, pine and resin aromas and flavors of Citra and Simcoe hops – both familiar varieties but in a brand-new form. Bubble Wrap

Not playing it safe and leaving all gimmicks behind, we set out to make the next great Hazy IPA with a healthy amount of spelt, wheat, and acidulated malt before dumping a ton of Galaxy and Mosaic hops into the hop back. The result is a juicy hop flavor that is as fun to drink as it is to pop those bubbles.

Grand Crew

Grand Crew is an 8.5% ABV, amber colored Belgian-style “Grand Cru,” with aromas of toast, biscuit, stone fruit, and spice (clove and white pepper). The beer is medium to light bodied, which belies its complexity. Nuanced layers of caramel, toast, spice, yellow raisin, white pepper, and biscuit dominate the flavor profile. It was brewed with six different Belgian malts, light- and amber- candi syrup (which helps provide the lighter mouthfeel), and a Belgian yeast blend of three different attenuative strains. Eight months of Pinot Noir wine barrel aging expands the depth of flavor, with subtle hints of dark fruit and oak entwined with the toasty, biscuity, spicy Belgian character, while also providing vinous, grape, and earthy aromas.
