Dark Farmhouse Ale with smooth rich and dark malts and our house yeast, naturally soured using our indigenous bacteria, and with earthy citrus hop characters.

We took our C Dock Cream Ale and added a bunch of roasted jalapeños. A hint of malt, slightly sweet, light and thirst-quenching, with a warming heat. Big roasted jalapeño aromas.

Swedish/European version of Mangofeber Double Dry Hopped New England India Pale Ale at 6,5%. Exists on bottles & kegs.

Night Spirit Imperial Stout is a luscious black ale that has been aged more than 10 months in whisky casks that held very special NZ single malt whisky for more than 20 years. The casks have a great story to tell and amazing flavours to contribute to the beer. Originally these American oak casks held American bourbon from J. T. S. Brown and Sons (now Heaven Hill) and were coopered in the early 1960’s. The resulting beer is deep, dark, and intense in flavour with notes of oak, roasted barley, black malts, vanilla, and whisky. There were a very limited number of NZ Whiskey Co. barrels, and we can coax the whiskey character out of a barrel and into a beer only once. After that, the barrel may offer oak flavour, but the whiskey character is essentially lost. Each bottle is hand numbered. The 2017 release is sold out. Annual releases are planned for 2018 – 2021 and supply is very limited. Count yourself fortunate if you are lucky enough to get your hands on some of these bottles. It is a unique experience which can’t be repeated and the beer will age gracefully for years. We expect the sweet spot to be around 3-5 years. Do not serve cold! Treat it like a port or red wine and serve it in an elegant glass.

Reserve Saison is composed of a blend of our Classic Saison vintages aged in Burgundian Barriques and Hogsheads since 2015 and 2016. The Reserve Saison displays generous oak character and balance with ethereal yet rustic notes of the indigenous wild yeast residing within the walls of our brewery. The Reserve Saison is the ultimate expression of our site and House Style, imparting a sense of place, time and season to this wild ale.

This is Straight to Ale's winning beer style and name in our 2016 Red, White, and Brew contest. (Chosen by you, for you!) Its an Oatmeal Stout infused with Sea Salt Caramel Coffee. As it warms, the aroma and flavors come out more and more. It's Big, it's Dark, it's Packed Full of Flavors!

A collaboration between Dan Filiheahekava, Frans Filius, Kerry Gray, Brayden Rawlinson and Karl Hayes. This beer was brewed July 2015 with a cocktail of Belgian yeast varieties and a large proportion of Belgian Candi Sugar and Gladfields Dark Crystal malt. Very smooth, huge esters, deep red colour and little alcoholic heat for such a strong beer.

Each quarter we stretch our creative muscles and brew a variation of our year-round Imperial Stout. This quarter we’ve paired up with our good friends at Modern Times Coffee to create a special pairing of coffee and beer. Their Celestial Dawn coffee has robust notes of chocolate, berries, stone fruit, wood, and spice. When combined with our Speedway Stout, the blend is full of chocolate, fruit, and caramel notes.

A boldly brewed New World Stout with unmistakable Kiwi hop under tones. We have used four premium NZ pure malts: Ale, Chocolate, Toffee & Crystal mashed with NZ Roasted Barley & Oats to give the deep, dark, rich flavour and a jet black lava hue in the glass. Aotearoa Cascade Hops add a final dark twist......

Fresh and thirst quenching. Fresh lime and lemon are the key flavours in this delicious, mildly sweet Hoegaarden Radler. In the aftertaste you will find hints of coriander and clove, tastes that give Hoegaarden its typical flavour.
