Founders' Reserve Hopped Hard Cider is a sparkling cider made with a combination of classic American bittering and aromatic hops. Fruit forward with a floral nose; a subtle sweetness balances the light bitterness to give a smooth, slightly resinous finish.

Man Eating Sharks Infest the Atlantic! In the summer of 1916, a shark haunted the New Jersey coastline killing four & injuring seven. While there is much debate over what shark was responsible, there is no question that the attacks found their way into pop books & films depicting one great white shark who made the shore shiver.

Like the Franco-Belgian Military Accord of 1920, this beer unites a Belgian-style Imperial Stout and one-year aging in a French Cognac oak foudre, coalescing into inviting aromas of dark roast coffee & dark chocolate, cognac, black cherries, wood and hints of molasses, homemade licorice and slight smoke, followed by welcoming favors of espresso roast coffee, prominent dark chocolate & black cherries, plums, French oak tannins and cognac. Hop bitterness, aromas and flavors are not readily perceived but provide back stage structure to balance the roast malts and oak tannins. The pleasant, medium body, gentle warming and dry finish of this opaque/black imperial stout perfectly suits it for a snifter on a cold, midwestern night.

This is part of the Serenade Series, where we brew a beer inspired by a particular musician or group, and then serenade, the yeast with that music during the brewing, fermentation and conditioning of the beer. The beer was inspired by and then serenaded to the Grateful Dead's musical zenith, the year 1972. The entire 72 tour was played to the yeast-with some very interesting results!

We are always looking for opportunities to get creative around the brewhouse, and the celebration of another year of passionate brewing is the best opportunity we can think of. As such, we revel in the challenge of coming up with a new and interesting brew each year under our "Anniversary" label worthy of both paying homage to our past and the new year of brewing that lays ahead.

To celebrate the brewery’s 19th Anniversary, Great Divide’s brewers deviated from previous years’ anniversary ales and developed an entirely new recipe. The label reads, 19th Anniversary Ale isn’t just a wood-aged ale. It’s a compass – a reminder of where we’ve been and where we’re going. Brewed with pure birch syrup and aged on birch wood, this beer embraces reverential tradition and revolutionary innovation. As we celebrate our 19th year, we hope you’ll join us for the road ahead.

In the beginning, cherry trees shaded the beer garden. Resisting temptation no longer, we picked the fruit and let it ferment into a pleasingly sour and subtly sweet ale to mark Uinta’s 19th Birthday. A sinful pleasure for the experienced and adventurous palate.

Our first year anniversary Imperial Pilsner is an unfiltered, hopped-up lager brewed with true German malt. Hallertau hops, added twice in the fermenter, give this special brew plenty of flavor and aroma while maintaining a drinkable presence. Available on draft and in 22-ounce bottles while supplies last.

Our first Anniversary Ale was brewed with hundreds of pounds of locally grown blood oranges. This monster beer also clocked in at 9% alcohol. The blood oranges added an interesting grapefruit aroma and flavor along with a pleasant bitterness. Brewed once in 2009 and perhaps never again. The idea for this brew came from owner Ben Cook's original attempts at crafting the Orange Wheat beer as a homebrewer. The first attempt came out with way too much alcohol, but after an extended aging tasted great. The same extra alcohol and extended aging were brewed (on purpose) into the IBOW.

A tribute beer to our first year is also a tribute to the new and old in American brewing. To represent tradition we made a lager because these were the first beers in America. To represent the American craft beer revolution we decided to go high gravity, black, and hoppy. When drinking you will notice a mild hoppy nose with chocolate notes, a creamy texture followed by a bitter sweet finish.

That first conversation between new found friends is always enthralling. In this Saison, malted barley, rye, and wheat tell their stories, straightforward yet profound, while a unique yeast strain captivates them with elegant ramblings. The yeast is responsible for the fruity, cirtusy, spicy notes in this thirst quencher, the 1st in our series of Belgian-inspired beers. 5.5% ABV. 2013 Silver medal winner in the California State Fair Craft Beer Competition in the category Belgian Pale Ale.

This Blonde Ale is dedicated to the city of Katy, Texas. Because Katy was known for its rice farming, we decided to brew this beer with a touch of rice, giving it a smooth, clean, and crisp finish. Perfect for all occasions. Come try it at one of our tasting or look for it at shelf near you.

Another huge IPA knocking you out with a four-hop blend of Apollo, Centennial, Crystal, and Chinook hops. This imperial IPA clocks in at 100 IBUs and 11% ABV, making it just a bit bigger than last fall's Unsessionable, and certainly the kind of beer that you'll need just one of. Toasted malt flavors lurking behind massive levels of hop bitterness and flavor with a punch of of hop aroma reminiscent of fresh citrus rind.
