A German Helles, or a new world golden lager, lightly hopped with German noble hops that create a delicious balanced malty flavor with a fine lingering mild hop finish

Brewed with pale, crystal and German Munich malts and hopped with Summit, Cascade and Amarillo, this pale ale is incredibly well balanced. It is slightly floral, slightly fruity and ends with a subtle bitter finish.

Quickly after hatching the brainchild that has become Stillwater Artisanal, our good friend and cellar-master extraordinaire, Casey Hard of Max’s Taphouse stepped right up to have us debut our first public release during their annual Belgian Beer Festival. This year, the fest marks our first anniversary and 2011 also signifies 25 years of Max’s. For this occasion we crafted an elegantly deep, dark ale that features elements of roast, light smokiness, and beautiful fruity esters attributed to the Belgian yeast strain used. Thanks for an amazing first year.

New spin on a classic pilsner-style lager

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Delirium Tremens, the beer masters of Brewery Huyghe have developed a special limited edition of the beer, which will only be available for a very short period in time. We already have a unique recipe, but we are still missing a unique label. Limited edition . IPA with 49 EBU. American hop with dry-hopping. Malted barley and wheat malt.

The third installment of our Anniversary series beers pays homage to the Brewery’s first few years, and to its Wisconsin roots: Brandy Barrel-Aged Imperial Pumpkin Lager. It pours a copper-orange with a fine, off-white head. The aroma is caramel-forward, followed by cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, oak, and subtle brandy notes. The full, moderately bright mouthfeel starts with cinnamon, nutmeg, and caramel malt, then yields Madagascar vanilla bean, oak, and brandy flavors. A lingering oak and malty sweetness are left on the palate; a reminder of how we’ve honed our craft over the past 25 years.

Turbodog® is the inspiration for this robust dark ale. Double Dog is brewed with generous amounts of pale, caramel, and chocolate malts and Willamette hops. Whole, natural vanilla beans are added during the aging process. This combination provides a rich body and color with chocolate, vanilla and toffee-like flavor. 25 years ago the Abita Brewing Company was founded on a pristine, artesian aquifer north of New Orleans. We brewed this 100% Wheat Malt beer to celebrate our 27th anniversary. Our 27th Anniversary Wheatwine is brewed in the Barleywine style, but contains no barley malt, instead, it is mashed and brewed with 100% Wheat Malt. The beer has a rich golden hue and is brewed with Wheat and CaraWheat Malts and hopped with a blend of UK and NW hops. Complex aromas of apricot, spice, and citrus lead to a smooth palate, blended with notes of caramel, marmalade, and green hop overtones. Doesn’t that sound like a great reward for being good or what? And for turning 27. Cheers! (ABV 9.5% IBU 53.5)

Our lightest year-round offering, brewed with 25% wheat malt, which imparts a richer flavor to the beer than your average light lager possesses. During early spring around here tend to get cabin fever. Snow is fine, but at some point you just need to shred some mud! In that spirit, we offer this India Brown Ale in celebration of the season. Big'er, Bad'er and Bold'er, the 29'er is the bike (and beer) to go huge on. With 29" wheels instead of the usual 26", this monster bike eats the trail up in chunks. We thought it a suitable name for this slightly more aggressive India Brown Ale. 29'er is a classic brown with a hoppy roasted nose to balance a nutty, strong malt body that finishes with smooth chocolate and coffee undertones. This brew is our take on a Belgian quad. The large portion of dark candi syrup & three Belgian yeasts showcase a range of dark fruit flavors and aromas of cherries, figs & prunes. Bottle conditioning allows this beer to be enjoyed fresh or aged for your own special occasion. Available Nov. 2013 while supplies last.

Hangar 24's second Anniversary Ale marked our first attempt at a Belgian-Style beer. This type of beer requires special yeast that provides interesting spicy flavors and aromas. We used fresh-pressed apple cider from Los Rios Apples in Oak Glen and combined it with carmelized sugar made for us by a local culinary school. The combination of yeast, apple and caramel (along with some malt and hops) created unique flavors of clove spice, bready apple pie and a sweet, fruity finish. Brewed in the summer of 2010, this beer will be around for a limited time. Come get a pint or a growler fill before it is gone!
