Citrus orange aromas dominate this beer. Dark copper in color with a creamy head of foam. Citrus flavors work in balance with the slightly sweet malt character. Traditional hop bitterness is low. Citra, Mosaic and Manderina Bavaria - all known for their citrus forward profile - are the primary hops used for kettle and dry hop additions. Post fermentation, the beer is infused with fresh orange peel.

Blood Orange IPA is a west coast style IPA that comes at you with a punch of citrus to the nose. First taste gives you a forward bitterness with a grapefruity hop finish. A little sweet blood orange lingers on the tongue.

Literally translated as “cyclist” in German, Radler is a popular tradition in Germany and much of Eastern Europe. It consists of a mix of Lager and a Brewhouse made Blood Orange Soda. The soda is all-natural, brewed with filtered water, cane sugar, pure blood orange concentrate, and citric acid. The resulting mix of beer and soda is slightly tart, slightly sweet, and 100% refreshing on a hot summer day.

Shipyard Blood Orange is a crisp, refreshing Belgian style wheat ale with a subtle orange aroma and hints of coriander and citrus on the finish.

Brewed with pure blood red orange juice. Generously hopped, grapefruity and orange flavor. Aromatics are strong with resins, grapefruit, orange, and tangerine.

Winner of our 14th annual Homebrew Competition in 2009. Lloyd Cicetti's Wheat Beer with Blood Oranges is a citrusy and supremely refreshing with floral notes thanks to Sicillian blood orange zest added to the brew kettle and puree added during and after fermentation. This hefeweizen has hints of fruity esters and spice from Bavarian wheat yeast.

Brewed exclusively for the 2013 Craft Brewers Conference (and a collaborative project with Reyes Beverage Group), Bloodline is an intensely-hopped IPA brewed with Blood Orange peel and juice. According to our Brewmaster Matt Brophy, the result is a flavor profile that harnessed the best aspects of both the hops (Warrior, Citra, and Galaxy) and the citrus. He and his brewing team are very fond of hop-based citrus aromas, so experimenting with actual citrus was a natural extension of that.

A lighter bodied beer with an appealing ruby red glow and aromas of spicy tomato juice. Fermented with Roma tomatoes and spiced with dill, horseradish, peppercorns, and celery seed lead to an astounding initial tomato flavor, followed by a lingering finish that allows each additional ingredient a chance to resonate on the palate. Decant carefully, and let this 2009 GABF silver medal winner warm slightly in order to appreciate the full magnitude of flavors.

Blonde ale with cherries and blood oranges

We used English malts, hops, and yeast to create this IPA. This is a single hop beer, using multiple additions of UK Target hops and an English strain of yeast, giving a clean finishing beer.

Simply a Blood Orange Pilsner. Brewed with German Pilsner and munich malts, hopped with American Citra, Columbus, Amarillo and Czech Saaz and fermented with Danish lager yeast. Then we added the zest and juice from a shit-ton of blood oranges.

Bloomsbury Brown was brewed to commemorate the company’s long association with Charleston, where the ‘Bloomsbury Group’ used as a meeting place during the first half of the twentieth century. Harveys delivered beer to Duncan Grant over many years and a bottle is still occasionally featured in his still life compositions. Tasting note: A traditional Brown Ale. Sweet and dark with a nutty palate and discreet bitterness. A refreshing drink which may be served with a wide variety of foods or enjoyed in its own right. Formally known at Nut Brown Ale.
