Thought to have its origins in Einbeck, Germany, this fabulously smooth, reddish-brown lager has a reputation for having quite a kick ("bock" is German for billy-goat). It is thus higher in alcohol (6-6.5% abv), but goes down almost too easily.

A dark German lager with hints of caramel, biscuit and expresso. Long lagering times have produced a dark beer with a creamy smooth mouth-feel that makes this very popular. Comfort food is a great match with this beer – try it with lamb shanks or a beef casserole. If you feel adventurous sip on some while you’re eating chocolate cake.

Our traditional bock beer is a dark strong full bodied beer, dark brown in color with very low hop bitterness. Bull Falls Bock is big on malty flavor with a noticeable malty aroma and clean finish.

Our bock utilizes locally grown organic cascade hops from Goats Peak Farm and the brewery’s own hop yard. With a stronger, but not overwhelming ABV, this is a fan favorite.

From the depths of German tradition comes Side Trail Series #2, Bock Ness Monster. Historically German monks brewed this behemoth beer to sustain them through their Lent fast. Like the doppelbocks before him, Bock Ness Monster’s aroma is dominated by traditional Munich malts but with subtle hints of chocolate and plum. The flavors of rich maltiness, toasty biscuit, light caramel, and dark chocolate flood your mouth with every sip. This beer is a flavor monster and and big enough to hold you over til lunch. Do as the Monks do – drink your breakfast.

A seasonal beer of German origin, Bockbier is traditionally brewed in the winter months around Christmas. The golden brown lager is sweet, relatively strong and lightly hopped. Its a big malty beer with toasty overtones that finishes cleanly. Don't let the high alcohol and malt-forward character of this Bockbier fool you. It's very smooth and just the type of beer to drink in a stein in front of the fire place.
