Brother Clement

Bad Tom Brewing has chosen to replace Belgian wild yeast with American yeast and has combined it with a three grain (barley/wheat /oat) two hop formula along with the distinctive flavors of the Clementine to produce our take on a Belgian Ale that is truly unique. Brother Clement Belgian Ale is made with approximately 40% wheat to produce a lighter, more refreshing summer beer which goes well with outdoor activities and cooking on the BBQ. Brewed with whole Clementines, it has a light citrus aroma and a clean refreshing finish. Typical of all Belgian beers, the appearance is hazy rather than clear and it has a light, white lace. The color is toward the yellow side of gold with a touch of the red from the Clementine. We think that Brother Clement would be pleased with his fruit being used to enhance the flavor of an American Belgian Ale in the spirit of the Abbey Beers.

Rehearse your Gregorian chants, don your monastic habit and take your vows to the lost order of Brother Leo, devoted to the solitary contemplation of the ancient brew mysteries. Your new-found devotion to drink this heavenly combination of Belgian and American grains with its mild spiciness, moderate fruity esters, and boldly hoppy notes of citrus, pine, and lemon, encourages sacrifice from the worldly distractions of lesser beers to worship in unity with this inspired brew.

BrouCzech Bock

Canadian luberjack's favorite - because it is just as powerfull Or full-flavored, or however we could put it to let you know that there is nothing "light" in BrouCzech Bock. Deep golden color, notable bitterness and tons of malt. Full, creamy, rich, and rounded with a huge warm malt character, succulent texture and long lingering finish. Unquestionably the crown jewel of our family, as Bock does not leave the cellars under 100 days from birth. Served best at 54 to 57°F.

BrouCzech Dark

Hell with fire of life - The only brunett among all blondes, and yes, it is different. Until 1842, all beers were dark. This is a stellar example of what our forfathers may have been drinking back then. Reddish brown in color, with a rich, foamy head and a distinctive aroma of roasted malt and Saaz hops. Although the sweetest of our beers, it still retains our typically pleasant hoppy-malty tail and it is a very enjoyable brew all around. Best served around 56-58°F with a hefty medium rare steak.

BrouCzech Lager

BrouCzech history in the making - alas, the taste is what wins everyone over. True traditional lager, minimum of 60 days in creation before it leaves our lager cellars. Medium well on the scale of golden color, creamy head that stays on for a while when poured properly - meaning right into the corner between the glass wall and bottom. Hoppy and malty aroma with a hint of sweetness leaves a very pleasant aftertaste - watch out, this flavor is highly addictive! Recommended serving temperature 54-56 °F (12-14 °C).

BrouCzech Pils

There is a good reason why Czech Republic is #1 in beer consumption per capita, and it is this type of pilsner or pale lager that makes it happen. Outsells its stronger cousin, BrouCzech Lager, about 2 to 1 and together they make over 90% of all domestic consumption. Like all BrouCzech beers Pils is produced with all natural ingredients in strict compliance with German Reinheitsgebot of 1516. BrouCzech Pils is a bottom fermented pilsner that is the most widely enjoyed beer type in the Czech Republic. This brew has a pale golden color, pleasant Saaz hop nose, the unmistakable character of an all Barley malt brew with a refreshingly clean crisp finish. Recommended serving temperature 54-56 °F (12-14 °C).

This beer is more oriented on the American side of brown ales. Not bitter, as the hops are added late during the boil for more of it’s aromatic qualities. Notice the fruity nose and chocolate malt flavors to make this what the staff calls a gentle beer.

Brown Ale

Our Brown is simply put…. amazing! Styled as a Northern English Nut Brown Ale, it carries the same malty sweetness you would expect of the category but with a slight California hop twist. This is designed and carried through to be particularly malty, creamy, and thick. Taste-wise it is similar to Lost Coast’s Downtown Brown but with a slightly drier, hoppier finish. It is 5.5% ABV and frankly goes awesome with a steak, burger, bbq, or anything with a strong meaty flavor (and ironically makes a great dessert beer with some vanilla ice cream).

Brown Ale

This traditional version of a British style Brown Ale has a rich, malty aroma reminiscent of fresh-baked multi-grain bread with some moderate caramel notes. Caramel and toffee sweetness with hints of bread and dark fruit flavors are balanced with a medium body and smooth finish. Little to no hop aromas or bitterness makes this a perfect beer for anyone who craves an easy drinking, malty beer.
