Our Sour Ale Program at Upland has been an adventure into the unknown from the beginning. We are proud to share the next leg of our journey with you. The Fresh Oak Brett Project was begun to explore not only the flavors of fresh oak barrels, but to also experiment with available strains of wild yeasts, or brettanomyces, to see what flavors the develop during fermentation. This bottle holds the results of a single strain fermentation with brett, Bruxellensis, inside of a fresh Minnesota and Missouri White Oak Barrel.

This beer has been brewed in honor of Broad Ripple Village's 175th birthday. It's a big, amber, malty lager that's full-bodied, sweet and delicious. Happy Birthday Broad Ripple!

BTM Wheat is sessionable American Wheat Pale Ale. This wheat ale is brewed with Citra hops that give a nice tropical flavor. It has a light body meant for days at the beach, boat or any outdoor activity in South Florida. It’s aroma is that of tropical fruits as well due to the dry hop with El Dorado Hops. This wheat ale is fermented with an ale yeast as apposed to a Weiss Yeast Strain.

Large but simple, obnoxious but very likable, unfiltered...Bubba. A big American version of the classic Pilsner style. A simple malt bill is complimented by a ridiculous amount (nine additions...nonuple hopped brewed??) of flavorful American hops. A golden straw colored beer encompassing a huge hop aroma and flavor profile. All the qualities of a clean/crisp pils with lots of citrus and floral flavors.

Root Beer Spiced Brown

A swanky interpretation of a double strength wheat beer, fermented solely by champagne yeast. Notes of tart citrus and white grape soothe the pallet in this sparkling ale.

This traditional German-style wheat beer is rich in banana and clove undertones, with a wonderful frothy head.

The perfect thirst quenching summertime ale. The subtle flavor of kiwi and strawberry blend with traditional German wheat and hops. Great for a hot summer day.

This dark full bodied stout is perfect with a meal or as a meal. Rolled oats give this beer an enjoyable mouthfeel while chocolate and roasted malts lend to its distinctive flavor.

Buccaneer Bacon is a smoked lager that is imbued with the great taste of bacon. The flavors come from beechwood smoked malt and bacon added at just the right time. A pleasant sweetness from the malt counter-balances the campfire smokiness. Aroma emits a blast of smoke with a subtle hop finish.

A smooth, eminently drinkable stout on the order of Guinness draft, served on nitrogen to provide a solid and creamy head. The Buck is both stately and plump, a condition achieved through the combination of a partial sour mash, a deep roasted barley backbone, and the velvety texture of flaked barley.
