Deeply inspired by the great works of TV personality Joe Rogan, we sought out to make a beer as an ode to a man who hosted Fear Factor. Just kidding. This is a German rye beer (Roggen is German for Rye) that is very thick, sweet and lasting. Probably the most unique beer you’ll try this week.

Here’s our Mop Man’s brew of choice – an amber ale steeped with 5 of his favorite festive spices. Though it shares some characteristics with popular pumpkin ales, ours is a unique blend of flavors that you’ll want to enjoy through the Christmas season. Especially look for hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.

Brewed in the traditional Oktoberfest style, our first lager is dark copper in coloring, with an upfront malty sweetness balanced by mild hop bitterness.

A twist on our original Pale Ale, this version is light and refreshing but full of delicious hop flavor. Bittered with Bravo hops and finished with 40 lbs of fresh local wet hops from Cape Farms, it is the perfect beer to enjoy on a cool September day.

ABV: 5.4% SRM 4.4 IBU 58 Dryer than dry with a hop stickiness that coats your mouth, with a lingering grapefruit bitterness that accentuates the dryness leaving you thirsty for more, this Pale Ale defines being rad. Continuing our Employee Series, if you’ve had a conversation with our sales guy Richie you’ll know why we named this Rad - as invariably within minutes he’s referred to something as being "rad." Richie wanted a rad beer that was crushable and bursting at the seams with tropical notes and hoppy dankness, and with spring in full swing you’re reaching for a brew that’ll let you pound back a few rounds. Begging for a couple go-to’s, Richie’s Rad Pale Ale is one you’re going to put back with ease.

Imagine if an IPA, a wheat beer, and a Belgium Double had a baby; it would be called a Saison. This is a refreshing, medium to strong fruity and spicy ale with a distinctive yellow orange color, highly carbonated, well hopped, and dry with a quenching acidity. Originally brewed at the end of the cool season to last through the warmer months before refrigeration was common. It had to be sturdy enough to last for months but not too strong to be quenching and refreshing in the summer. We brew ours with coriander and lots of saaz hops.

Made exclusively for the 50th anniversary of the Cape May- Lewes Ferry this pale ale is sure to sail straight into your pint glass. Made with Simcoe hops this beer has the perfect balance of hops and citrus. With grapefruit undertones this beer would be perfect to pair with your cruise across the Delaware Bay.

Sometimes you’re looking to get a good buzz; sometimes not. But you never have to sacrifice quality. This malt-heavy and lightly hopped session ale is full in flavor but easy-drinking and low in ABV.

A very dark, sweet, full-bodied, slightly roasty ale that gives a distant taste of chocolate covered coffee beans. Not to be confused with the ubiquitous Irish dry stout, our version is a complex balance of flavors and that has a residual sweetness from a higher mash temperature.

We loaded this session IPA with citrus and fruit forward hops, kept the body strong enough to stand to up to the barrage of hops, and dry hopped the heck out of it to make a session IPA we feel is worth stepping back and taking five.

This traditional belgian triple is light in body but not in potency. The term tripel was used in Belgium and the Netherlands to describe a strong ale. It is similiar to our Devil’s Reach, but we are referring to it as our "Superbier."

Just like our girl Vanessa, this Wit is a little fruity, sweet when it wants to be, and extra zesty!

Unique to Cape May Brewing Company, this wheat ber is steped with fresh watermelons from Beach Plum Farm in West Cape May. We used Honeyheart, Tiger Baby and Jubilee watermelons to get that entire flavor. No extracts or additives here!

Twinkling in the autumn night sky is Capella, a pair of binary stars. Capella Porter marks the end of the harvest season (Samhain), as we transition into the darker half of the year. A collection of American hops (Nugget, Chinook, Centennial and Cascade) brighten this lively porter. A chocolate nose is followed by caramel notes and a smooth finish.

Gold Medal! 2012 Great American Beer Festival Kölsch is great for those who enjoy light beers or American style pilsners. Kölsch is an ale that tastes like a lager. The light and subtle flavors of Kölsch are familiar and yet more complex than typical American macro beers. We use German Pilsner and Wheat malts coupled with Noble hops and German Ale yeast to create the authentic flavor of this classic style.

This Breakfast of Champions beer is fruity through and through, without ever being overly sweet. Berry notes combined with toasted malt characteristics exist throughout. The blue-green hue is reminiscent of the milk at the end of the bowl of cereal featuring everyone’s favorite sailor. The finish is refreshing and lingering, without cutting the roof of your mouth.
