Our Citra Session™ IPA is brewed with high-quality Marris Otter and Vienna malt but the flavor is dominated by the Citra hops introduced throughout the boil and again in the dry hop for maximum aroma intensity. Notes of lemon, orange and grapefruit make this hop-laden brew a perfectly potable summer session IPA.

Despite his bitterness, lack of power and insuperable aversion to any kind of extravagant labor - he kind of has a charming charisma, and perhaps he is even loveable. Somehow we find him unbelievable irresistible and stimulating because he is one of the few that masters the ability to effortlessly impress with his sharp intelligence and make it look so damn easy.

The Citra-Lingus, North East Style DIPA, was dry hooped with Citra. This gives it a floral, tropical fruit, citrus-sweet cocktail nose with notes of pineapple and honey. The underlying nose, beyond the light white head, carries a scent of the alcohol, 6.8% ABV and malt in a hint of Grand Marnier. On the palate, because this beer is naturally carbonated by “alchemist” (Conan) yeast, the contrast of its soft liquidity and its salty effervescence creates dynamic as the viscous liquid saturates soft on the sides of the tongue while simultaneously delivering a hoppy herbal sweet-tart finish. . . instigating salivation for more.

This beer is a single-hopped rye pale ale featuring the Citra hop. Citra is one of our favorite hop varieties and has some crazy tropical fruit flavors and aromatics – think mango, pineapple, and passionfruit. Add in 10% malted rye just to make it interesting and you have a super sessionable pale ale perfect for the warm Charleston spring.

It started out innocently enough – a friend gave me a beer hopped with Citra. My life changed. I began to seek out other hoppy beers. I came to appreciate the grapefruit and mango that Citra brought to my palate. Suddenly, I looked for complexity over simplicity, taste over the lack thereof. I felt smarter, younger and I stopped buying processed cheese. But things changed when I realized I couldn’t drink the beer at the sports bar with the guys after hockey. They started calling me hurtful names like “beer snob” and “Mr. Fancy”. What would I drink at weddings? Baseball games? Or even a visit to the Old Man’s place? And WTF was I going to do with all my frozen beer mugs? My wife left. My dog ran away. My name is Garnett and I’m addicted to Citra. Single hop beer – Citra

All citra hop IPA with lemon peel

The luscious aromas and flavors of mango, grapefruit, orange, and melon make this juicy IPA one that begs you to enjoy more than one.

Dry-hopped with Citra. This is a dry beer with fruit and spicy flavors supported by a soft malt character. Liberally dosed with Saaz and Citra hops for some West Coast appeal.

Our version of the traditional German Kölsch style is fragrant and complex. The Alsation hop we chose imparts a subtle citrus note adding a delicate floral aroma and flavor to this layered and refreshed brew.

Hand grated lemon zest is augmented by a hop combination that neatly walks the tightrope between sharp and sweet. The citrus core has additional notes or sherbet, lime and gentle spice.
