Boulevard Ginger-Lemon Radler is a zesty, refreshing take on the tradition of mixing beer with soda or lemonade to create a light, thirst-quenching beverage ideal for warm weather. Radler (literally “cyclist,”) takes its name from active German sportsmen of a hundred years ago, but our version tastes just as good even if you do nothing more strenuous than lifting it to your lips.

Not too long ago, we asked fans to suggest ingredients for a new limited winter release that would best fit the season. After lots of great suggestions and tastings with fans, Gingerbread Spiced Ale came out on top. With tastes of ginger, cinnamon, and molasses, it’s clear why they chose this wintery brew.

Remember stocking caps and frigid snowflake-filled winters? We don’t either. Texas is hot, but beer shouldn’t be. For the holidays, we’ve created a beer bouquet that tastes like a crisp and zingy exclamation point, brisk as the wind off a lake against the pitch black backdrop of a Russian imperial stout. Festive, hearty and an innoculent against a pretend winter chill, expect our Christmas in a glass to have a little extra “ho, ho, ho.” Sweet, creamy, slightly roasty stout with big nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves on the nose. Surprisingly easy-going mouthfeel.

Brewed with baby ginger from Casselmonte Farm and wildflower honey from Bearer Farms, Hardywood Gingerbread Stout captures the terroir of central Virginia in a rich, creamy libation with a velvety mouthfeel and an intriguing evolution of flavors from milk chocolate and vanilla to honeycomb and cinnamon to a snap of ginger in the finish. Deep, dark chocolate in color with a mahogany tint and a frothy, caramel colored head, Hardywood Gingerbread Stout offers aromatics of holiday spice originating from the ginger, and balanced with a generous dose of whole Madagascar bourbon vanilla beans and Vietnamese cinnamon. Milk sugar (lactose) contributes to the full body of this stout and tames its roasty character, while oats lend a silky quality. Enjoy fresh, or cellar for a special occasion. This stout was brewed with fresh ginger, Ceylon cinnamon and Madagascar vanilla beans to mimic the flavor of a gingerbread cookie. A perfect sipper for the holidays!
