Allagash Ghoulschip is our version of a pumpkin beer. We brewed it, on Halloween 2008, with a monster mash that included shredded Maine pumpkin and toasted pumpkin seeds. After much toil and some trouble, molasses were added to the boil. The wort then spent the night outside, in our Coolship, possessed by the yeasts of beers past. In the morning, the cooled wort was racked into a stainless tank and pitched with our house yeast. After primary fermentation the beer is then transferred to oak barrels. Ghoulschip fermented and aged in the dark recesses of our cellars for almost three years. The resulting beer is light bodied and pumpkiny in color. Apricot dominates the aroma, with vanilla and caramel lurking in the background. The flavor profile is scarily clean, with a dry, tart finish that will haunt you. Boo

Giant Juicebox is a big, juicy, and resinous Mandarin DIPA that is dangerously drinkable. 5 huge dry-hop additions and a hefty dose of Mandarin Oranges lend layered notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and dank herb with a refreshing mild acidity from citrus peel.

Using a German ale yeast similar to Kölsch, this Reddish/Brown ale is known for its balance between both malt and hops. Subtly toasty, with a hint of fruit character this ale is conditioned cold for a long period of time much like a lager. Smooth and quaffable Gibraltar is a beer to be enjoyed.

It seems that everyone knows the story of the Three Kings. Sent to follow the star in the sky each brought a gift for the baby they sought. One King brought Gold, the other Frankincense and the other Myrrh. Many breweries produce a Christmas Seasonal beer and this is our beer to celebrate the holiday season. Gold in color and bittered with the bark of Frankincense, we have even used the smallest amount of Myrrh which is an herb that has roots in ancient winemaking as well. The beer starts off with an initial malt sweetness that fades into a firm but subtle hop presence. The lager yeast and cold maturation ensure a crisp smooth finish. As the beer matures, the Brettanomyces added at bottling will become more pronounced and a drier beer will evolve.

Hops, hops and more hops. Notes of sweet malt, lychee, ripe mango and papaya with citrus and dankness to keep you honest and enough delicious alcohol to perform most back alley surgeries.

A pale ale brewed entirely with freshly picked Michigan Copper hops. The overall experience of this beer seems slightly subdued from the use of brewing with wet hops. Faint fruity aromas give way to subtle malt flavors and an interesting peppery hop spiciness. A light body allows for a moderate bitterness in the finish, that lingers as the palate drys, leaving a mild resiny hoppiness.

GiGi is a Belgian-influenced farmhouse ale. The flavor is sweet at first due to the use of pilsner, oat, and torrified wheat malts, but the subtle influences of Select, and Cascade hops add spice and a little mystery to her personality.

Lüttje documents is the most traditional draft beer, specialty and unique in Hanover Germany. The Lüttje-ply drinking is a centuries-old tradition and to this day an enjoyable fun on shooters, sports and festivals, and wherever friends gather at the pub or the game of Skat.

A villainous monster, Giles Golden Imperial Ale may be a light-bodied brew, but he’s as complex of a creature as any. Fruity esters, light, spicy hops and sweet notes of alcohol with soft malt characteristics create an all too familiar mischief-maker.

Inspired by the first written beer recipe (and by Sumerian king Gilgamesh), this modern version is brewed without hops in favor of the traditional Sumerian ingredients of dates, coriander, cardamom, grains of paradise, and juniper berries. We'd also like to give a shout-out to Ninkasi, Sumerian goddess of beer, without whom none of this would be possible!
