King Crimson is an Imperial Red Ale that delivers a royal bounty of luscious, fruity American hops on top of a sturdy, deep red malt backbone. This beer is lavishly dry-hopped with Simcoe, adding a citrusy and piney flavor and aroma to the toasty, sweet malt notes. King Dandy takes its name from the ‘Dapple Dandy’, and ‘Flavor King’ Pluots on which it was soured. There was also cherry variety named ‘Black Republicans’ that contributed to the souring process. King Dandy has the fruit and King Dandy features strong acidic sour notes complemented by a decent amount of fizz up front. King Dandy finishes with a lingering barrel and fruit pit characteristic. King Dandy will let that fruit linger with the mouth feel and King Dandy will not let you forget that you have been drinking a sour. King Dandy says to enjoy.

Don, one of the original North Carolina brewers, lent his pumpkin prowess to this collaboration beer in 2001. This complex beer uses five separate barley styles, an artistic touch of hops, spices normally used in baking, and fresh pumpkin!
