Harpoon Belgian Pale Ale

The traditional Belgian yeast used for fermentation produces fruity, slightly spicy aromatics. A blend of Pale, Caramel, and Munich malts creates a golden amber hue with malty, sweet notes up front. A generous addition of Amarillo hops delivers a floral, citrusy hop character throughout and Apollo hops lend a hint of bitterness to the finish.

Haze

Our Double IPA! We constructed this beer around hops we currently have plenty of access to, allowing us to re-brew it on a (relatively) consistent basis. We smell a ton of orange on the nose, with complimentary notes of peach and passionfruit. The flavor is similar with a blast of citrus fruit & orange quickly followed by spicy grapefruit, and earthy dankness. A lingering but pleasant saturated hop oil finish awaits. . . . A real juice bomb of a beer, with this batch in particular emphasizing the peach aspect of our hop blend...!

Head Smashed IPA

This excellent brew is our flagship beer. It is a heavily hopped pale ale. India Pale Ales originated during the lengthy colonization of India. British servicemen in India expected beer, however, the styles of the time did not survive the long voyage to India. Brewers quickly discovered that hops acted as preservatives in beer. As such, the heavily hopped ales designed to survive the long trips were born – now known as India Pale Ales.

Headless Man Amber Alt

The ancient peoples that inhabited Wisconsin are known for building numerous celestial stone monuments and earthen effigy mounds to serve as symbols of their culture and their beliefs. Unfortunately, most of these structures have fallen victim to the farmer's plow over the past 150 years. Not far from the brewery, lying preserved on the floor of Rock Lake, are two effigy mounds - a Headless Man and a Turtle. Legend tells us, as the Turtle can survive on both land and in water, its spirit helped guide the Headless Man into the afterlife. May the Turtle's spirit guide you to happiness with a Headless Man Amber Alt. The Headless Man is brewed in the \old way"of a D¼sseldorf-style Altbier. A unique cold lagering process gives this amber ale its smooth taste."""

Headwall Alt

In 2005, the Headwall Alt was introduced. This is traditional style of altbeir from Düsseldorf, Germany. Alt literally means old in German. Staying as true to the recipe as possible, the Headwall Alt is brewed using German malts, plus German and American hops. Like the Pale Ale, the Headwall Alt is cold conditioned, dry-hopped and krausened in the bottle or keg. Similar to the Pale Ale, the process takes about 30 days. The Headwall Alt was rated in the Top 6 brews in New England in the Boston Globe Magazine in 2009. It also made Beer Advocate’s list of top altbiers.

Headwaters Ale

Malted barley, hops and yeast are the building blocks of beer. But none of these elements would exist without water, the essence of life. The waters that feed our brewery begin just over a dozen miles away, making for spectacularly pure and vital water for brewing. Having worked with watershed advocacy groups since our inception, we value our headwaters, our source, in many ways. You’ll value them as well when you taste this firmly crisp and aromatically arousing pale ale.

Heaven, Hell or Hoboken walks a fine line between an IPA and Double IPA. Coming in at 68 IBUs and 6.5% ABV, the Nugget hops really come through on the back end.
