This beer was created on April 22nd, 2009. It is composed of 3 varieties of cereals and 1 variety of hop. It’s up to you to let the aromas of this «Lager» charm you!

Pils World—with a name affectionately inspired by the famous Phil’s World mountain bike trails outside of Durango— lends a light malt backbone to a moderately bitter hop presence, transitioning to a lemony, orange zest and finishing with a touch of tropical fruit. A well hopped medium bodied lager brewed in the Czech style of pilseners. This beer displays the distinct flavor and aroma of saaz hops.

Our traditional Czechoslovakian Pilsner won the gold medal at the Carolina’s Championship of Beer. It is brewed with German malt and Czech hops to create a perfect compliment of malt sweetness and body to the distinctive bitterness and aroma typical of this lager style. This beer is perfect evidence that light-bodied brews don’t have to be light in flavor. Our Pilsner drinks crisp and smooth, and still offers a richness of flavor.

This Czech style originated in Pilsen, becoming a textbook definition of local brewing. Local noble hops (i.e. Saaz) were harvested, local pilsner grains malted, and the soft water profile of the area augmented the other ingredients. Brewers utilized the cool cavernous landscape as a lagering method. The popularity of the pilsner style swept across the European landscape. It wasn't until the repeal of Prohibition that a blander variation of the pilsner took hold of the American beer market. The Bohemian pilsner is a style that we traced back to its roots in order to replicate.

Our continental lager has a deep golden hue, a giant rocky white head with a malty sweet nose. The first taste is sweet but leads quickly to a dry hoppy bitter finish. In the Bohemian style, Mill Street Pilsner finishes dry and is an excellent accompaniment to food or as a thirst quencher on its own.

This pilsner is sunshine in a glass. The hop bitterness is present but does not overpower the malt in this example of a German style pilsner.

STYLE: Pilsner TASTE NOTE: Pilsner is a pale straw beer with a herbal lemon aroma. In the mouth the beer is crisp and light with clean fruit notes. The finish is brisk and refreshing leaving a dry citrus linger.

A light, honey colored lager with a beautiful hop aroma and flavor. This lager is brewed in a traditional manner using only the finest ingredients. Fermented at lower temperatures than an ale, this beer has a drier body with less fruity esters.
