Glen falconer was passionate about friends, familly, and great ipas. So in tribute, we've created an ipa worth of this master brewer. Made with falconer's flight hops from hopunion, llc, a blend named for glen himself. The result is a bright, moderately bitter ipa with stonefruit aromas and a strong malt backbone. We think glen would have approved. Proceeds from the sale of falconer's flight hops go to the glen hay falconer foundation, providing scholarships to professional and aspiring brewers. In the spirit of collaboration, we teamed up with san diego's quality ale and fermentation fraternity, or quaff for short, to brew spiced IPA, a beer that offers an intriguing twist on the west coast's favorite style. Blending familiar flavors with unexpected ingredients, this hop-forward yet balanced IPA is brewed with malty assam black tea, ginger, cinnamon, clove, star anise, black pepper, and cardamom. The beer and the spices come together, much like the brewers behind it, to create on amazing brew.

The flavors of farmhouse ales compel and confound us. Bright, spicy, citrusy esters from the yeast strain dance across a crisp malt base and finish dry and savory. One sip transports you back to Wallonia and the rustic countryside where the French saison’s effervescent quench has saved Belgians from the heat since before they were Belgian. One sip compels another. Yet the flavor theory behind this simplest of styles confounds even the nerdiest palates, defying definition. Self-proclaimed professional tasters have described wines as “peppery” for eons. Yet it wasn’t until 2008 when scientists finally identified rotundone as the chemical compound found in both peppercorns and certain grape skins. Even more confounding: 1 in 5 people can’t smell the compound, and the rest of us are super sensitive to it. Every person is unique, and with a beer this complex, everyone will taste something a little different. So when that stuffy, self-important “expert” tells you what you “should be” tasting … just slap him in the face and take another sip. It’ll change again as it cools and warms, and then again as it ages unpredictably.

Nothing says America quite like rough cut lumber; and nothing says West Coast like an Oregon IPA. Just like our rough-cut, brewhouse rafters, our IPA is crafted by hand and never filtered, pasteurized or refined. Rahr two-row and Crisp Pale malts back up the massive three pounds per barrel of Cascade and Zythos hops, creating a huge aroma of candied fruit, sticky resin, and fresh grapefruit zest. So, if hops are your thing, raise a glass of Rough Cut IPA, and toast to 22 ounces of liquid Americana.

A robust and full-flavored ale with a fresh hop aroma that is complimented by a smooth maltiness.

Copper colored lager with a slightly roasted maltiness. Moderate hop bitterness and low hop aroma and flavor. Has a crisp lager finish.

It features a reddish-copper color, and is brewed with a blend of different malts and hops to give it the typical balanced flavors and aromas of an Irish Red.

Our flagship IPA is brewed to kick your taste buds in the ass and leave your palate begging for mercy. Pine, resin, and citrus aromas leap out of the glass. The extreme bitterness hits next, to give you your fix. The finish is dry, clean, and leaves you wanting more. We put a crazy amount of hops into this beer just for you, fellow hop heads. Enjoy.

Roulette — a Russian imperial oatmeal stout. The dark, creamy beverage is a “big time stout” with a rich, complex, malty flavor.

Mild roastiness, dark chocolate characteristics, mild body, no hop aroma, malt is present, with a small toffee character and bitter chocolate.

Our Cocoa Stout boasts a beautiful black body and tan head with notes of roasted barley, coffee, and bittersweet chocolate. Enjoy with dessert � especially good in a float with vanilla ice cream. Round Barn beer is bottle conditioned, decant into a pint glass before drinking for the best taste experience. Contains lactose (milk sugar).

An unpretentious American pale wheat beer, our Summer Wheat pours a cloudy golden-orange, just like a sunset over Lake Michigan. Its assertive wheat flavor is complimented with hints of citrus zest. Garnish with a slice of orange or lemon. Round Barn beer is bottle conditioned, decant into a weizen glass before drinking for the best taste experience.
