Sam's crushin' on a shortie. We took Sam's Daily, our authentic American Cream Ale, and aged it on strawberries and vanilla beans for beer that is sweet, refreshing and super creamy.

Samaels is a super-caramelly, oak-aged English-style strong ale. Perhaps the least hoppy (sacrilege here at Avery!) beer we’ve brewed, to accentuate the malt. The oak is very apparent in this rich and high gravity ale, adding additional depth and complexity with a woody and cask-like nose and a pronounced vanilla flavor on the palate. With the addition of a more roasted malt in 2007, Samaels now delivers subtle bitterness to add balance to the natural sweetness. Cellarable for 10+ years. Beer brewed Samhain on November 1 and is named in honor of the Celtic New Year , celebrated on this day. We planned to cook Pale Ale American-style , but at the same time wanted to get something more traditional and English : balanced -session beer that you can drink all night with friends for spiritual conversation. Digging in history, we have found a compromise and cooked version of American pale ale , dating back to the birth of this style (70 - 80s of the 20th century ) , when American brewers want to receive similar to British bitters class, but because of limited access to English hops they had to use local varieties of hops. Samhain APA no different extreme flavor and taste - it is very beverage beer every day, with a bright amber color and a pleasant mild citrus aroma formed American hops Amarillo and Cascade, added at a late stage of the cooking , plus dry hopping. Very light body , dry and confident bitter in taste and aftertaste - what more do you need for a long night?

We brewed a variation of our beloved Double Nut Brown Ale with chocolate, toasted coconut, salted caramel, and pecans to give it all the rich flavors of one of our favorite cookies, the infamous Samoa. This confectionery in a glass exhibits rich aromas, similar to that of the cookies, while the bright carbonation delivers similar flavor notes throughout. The long, lingering finish is similar to eating cookies – it’s nearly impossible to stop at just one.

Samsara is an Imperial India Pale Ale brewed with rye malt, which gives it a sharp, slightly spicy malt character. A unique blend of four American hop varieties boost the bitterness levels and make for truly unique hop flavor and aroma profiles.

Our commemorative ale honors Samson the elk. This is an oatmeal stout that is full-bodied with a wonderful roasted flavor and just a touch of sweetness.

Brewed especially for the season, this bright citrusy unfiltered lager is both satisfying and refreshing. It’s the perfect transition from winter’s heavier brews to the lighter beers of summer. Borne of our brewers’ many trips to Germany, Alpine Spring features a unique blend of lager attributes: the balanced maltiness and hoppiness of a Helles, the smoothness and slightly higher alcohol of a traditional spring bock, and the unfiltered appearance of a Kellerbier. The beer is brewed with Tettnang Noble hops to add a unique, bright orange-citrusy aroma and flavor.

Samuel Adams® Belgian Session takes a traditional Belgian beer and brews it with a twist to create a crisp, lighter version of this classic style. This limited-release is specially brewed to be light and refreshing for the summer. Fruity, slightly spicy flavors from the Belgian yeast are balanced by toffee and caramel notes from our blend of malts. The hops contribute a citrus character that rounds out this enjoyable brew.

This crisp, unfiltered lager is aged on blueberries for a pleasant blueberry aroma and taste. To take this fruity character in a new direction, we brewed with Tettnang Tettnanger Noble hops for an added subtle citrus note - a delicious blend of flavors with a smooth lager finish.

Beer lovers in Boston have an excuse to visit their favorite local establishment and enjoy a pint of craft beer this year. Samuel Adams Boston Brick Red, a traditional European style ale handcrafted by the Samuel Adams brewers, is giving craft beer fans an opportunity to give back to the Boston community. For every pint of Samuel Adams Boston Brick Red sold,an additional donation will be made to The Boston Beer Company’s core philanthropic program, Samuel Adams Brewing the American Dream.

Smooth, rich, and dark, with the robust flavor and creamy texture of chocolate. To create Samuel Adams Chocolate Bock, we wanted to take the flavor beyond the taste of dark roasted malt. For this year's brew we worked with a blend of cocoa nibs including Ecuador nibs from TCHO®, an artisanal chocolate maker in San Francisco. We started with hand selected Noble hops from Bavaria and combined them with a complex selection of carefully roasted malts. This dark beer has a big, malty character with the added sweetness of chocolate. We slowly age the beer on a bed of rare dark cocoa nibs, the primary ingredient in chocolate. Known for their quality, these cocoa nibs harvested in Ecuador, impart complex aromas and flavors from chocolaty to fruity, nutty, earthy, and citrusy.

Tart and sweet, with complex fruit, maple, and vanilla notes. Samuel Adams® Cranberry Lambic is a fruit beer that draws its flavor not just from the cranberries it’s brewed with, but also from the unique fermentation character imparted by the weissbier yeast in the primary fermentation. The result is a flavor rich in fruitiness and reminiscent of cranberries, bananas, cloves, and nutmeg. The yeast fermentation also creates a slight sourness on the sides of the palate, reminiscent of the original lambic style. That sourness, along with the astringency of the cranberries, is combined with a subtle cereal note from the malted wheat. It reminds its drinker that, as fruity a beer as this is, it’s still a beer.

Light and fragrant, Samuel Adams® East West Kölsch has a floral and herbal character that balances the refreshing German Kölsch style. A classic Kölsch is less bitter than a pilsner with a slightly fruity and sweet biscuit note. For our version we wanted to create a bright fresh flavor by using Alsatian Strisselspalt hops for a subtle lemon and grassy hop note. We added another layer of flavor by aging the beer on a bed of Jasmine Sambac, a fragrant night blooming flower from Southeast Asia. The jasmine creates a delicate floral aroma and flavor for a wonderfully complex and refreshing brew.

This Belgian style ale has been given added character from the hops and citrus from a Japanese fruit called yuzu.

An intense hop experience. Yes, we're a little obsessed with hops. Every autumn for over twenty years, Jim Koch has traveled to one of the oldest hop growing regions in the world, the Hallertau region of Bavaria Germany, to hand select the Noble hops for our beers, including the Hallertau Mittelfrueh variety. This special variety is considered to be one of the best in the world. Samuel Adams® Hallertau Imperial Pilsner is a celebration of these extraordinary hops. This beer is one of the hoppiest in the world. With the first sip there’s an explosion of some of the world's finest hops. And we mean “explosion” in a good way. This bold brew highlights the spicy, citrus flavors and aromas of the Hallertau Mittelfrueh hop that is abundant in the recipe. The Hallertau Mittelfrueh hop is prized for its delicate flavor rather than purely for its level of bitterness. As a result, the high levels of these hops give the beer an intense flavor without being overpowering. The beer remains well balanced from beginning to end, and continues to always be, well, "hoppy," providing hop lovers with an amazing beer drinking experience.
