This beer has four different hops set around a centrepiece Saison yeast. The spicy dry base is layered with rich ripe melon and bubblegum flavours, counterbalanced with a tart citrus finish.

Sturdy farmhouse ale that was traditionally brewed in the winter, to be consumed throughout the summer months. Not so long ago it was close to being an endangered style, but over recent years there's been a massive revival; especially in the US. This is a very complex style; many are very fruity in the aroma and flavor. Look for earthy yeast tones, mild to moderate tartness. Lots of spice and with a medium bitterness. They tend to be semi-dry with many only having touch of sweetness.

Belgian-style Saison Brewed with Star Anise, Peppercorns and Fresh Local Lemongrass Refreshingly light in body, yet full in flavor, Hardywood Saison Rustica combines the best of both worlds for a warm weather beer like no other. A delicate, yet vibrant beer, Saison Rustica’s citrusy lemongrass notes play together in perfect harmony with the prickly spice character from a blend of black, Szechuan and pink peppercorns and finishes with mellow licorice tones offered by freshly cracked star anise. Like a hazy ray of sunshine, our saison is crisp and refreshing with clean, relaxing Belgian Ale notes of stone fruit and a wisp of farmhouse. Infused with Lemon peel and grains of paradise.

Our annual Valentine's Day Beer, V is fermented with 170 lbs of raspberry and loads of cacao nibs from French Broad Chocolate Lounge. This tart, dark and handsome saison will sweep you off your feet.

This beer is the next progression in our single-hopped beer series and features the Amarillo hop (the Cowboy) and a large portion of wheat (the Farmer) in the grain bill. When fermented by our Belgian yeast strain at warm summer temperatures and blasted with an extra dose of Amarillo dry hops, these two best friends produce a light bodied ale with strong fruit and citrus flavors and a nose reminiscent of fresh squeezed orange juice.

American two row barley and malted rye provide the canvas for pungent Amarillo, Simcoe and Cascade hops to mingle with our house Saison yeast. Notes of grapefruit, peach, and bubblegum dance out of the glass and mellow into a refreshingly tart, dry finish.

Hop flavors are moderately high and floral to citrusy. The malts add complexity and give the beer a pleasant flavor, a golden color, and support the hop aspect. So, take a hike! If you love the smell of the woods after a fall rain, let our English India Pale Ale (IPA) take you there. The only thing missing are the bugs!
