Looks can be deceiving. Pitch black color tells the brain one thing, while the nose and tongue yell something different. An ungodly amount of our favorite American hops fall into an abyss of dark maltiness with an unusually light roast character for its color. Sinister Minister Black IPA makes its debut in the Cicada Series and we compel you to drink now.

Sinister Pear

Our Belgian Golden Strong Ale takes it name from the light pear flavors imparted by the Belgian yeast esters and the sinister nature of these styles of ales. Easy drinking from the Pilsener malt profile, this refreshing ale packs a punch with the additions of raw sugar to the boil kettle. A light hop flavor balances the alcohol, and melds perfectly with the pear flavors.

Sink the Bismarck

An unsettling development has arisen in mainland Europe which BrewDog have found impossible to ignore. Armed with their 40% ABV beer, German brewers have infiltrated our front lines, slipped under the defences and straight onto the radars of you – the noble beer drinkers of the Empire. We ask of you to keep calm and carry on whilst saluting the valiant efforts of Tactical Nuclear Penguin whose fall has allowed the Germans to recapture the world record for the strongest beer. We are wheeling out the big guns this time. Sink the Bismarck is a quadruple IPA that contains four times the hops, four times the bitterness and frozen four times to create at a staggering 41% ABV. This is IPA amplified, the most evocative style of the craft beer resistance with the volume cranked off the scale. Kettle hopped, dry hopped then freeze hopped for a deep fruit, resinous and spicy aroma. A full out attack on your taste-buds ensues as the incredibly smooth liquid delivers a crescendo of malt, sweet honey, hop oils and a torpedo of hop bitterness which lasts and lasts.

Sinner Series Gluttony

Here in Amager, we are pleasantly far from Jante Country, we are not afraid of excesses and moderation is us infinitely distant. In fact, it is just now that we consider gluttony as a virtue rather than a sin - at least when it comes to one thing: Hops! We have found the hops which shone most brightly in hops space and almost begged to be used in large quantities. And so we did - as befits a Double IPA of the highest order. We have overly indulgent in sinful degree - and we like it! I wonder if even you?

Sinner Series Greed

We asked our smartass marketing director what beer would be a good choice for the sin of Greed. He only pondered for a sec and then said: “We should simply do as all the big players do: make a cheapass beer and sell it at a premium prize – that’s greed for you alright”. Our marketing director is a smart guy, so of course we did what he said. We even put a picture of him on the label. The beer however turned out pretty badass. It’s a straight up German Pilsener without any fuss. Dig it – we do. We’re not proud to be sinners, but at least we’re open about it… Brewed from pilsener malts, Tettnanger and Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops and a Southern German lager yeast.

Sinner Series Lust

This strong Belgian ale is so sweet, that we are not afraid to call it pure lust on the bottle. During the brewing process was the mood so wild that brewer Jacob and brews Morten erupted in large quantities spontaneous kisses to each other. If not Thomas Schön had turned up unannounced, it was certainly not stopped by kindkyssene. This beer is so voluptuous that we can not guarantee the consequences if you serve it to her boyfriend by candlelight: it may very well end up in a lengthy dependents. We have brewed a beer with the most sensual sugars, we could find the net and then we spiced it with reputed aphrodisiacs such as Spanish fly, oysters and powdered deer penis. Or Ossetians we are just full of lies ...

Sinner Series Sloth

We are hard working people here in Amager Brewery. And only rarely are we lazy. But it happens. And we must admit that we were lazy when we designed this beer. One malt, one hop - albeit a good one - and so our husgær. We mean, how hard can it be to create a good session-suited American Pale Ale? It has here. Sometimes brewing hard work, sometimes it is an art, and sometimes it's just like a walk in the park. Go for a walk, relax on a bench in the sun. Be lazy with us and enjoy a "Sloth". We guarantee that you will not regret it.

Sinner Series Wrath

Saisoner is in. Saisoner is hip. Simply. No one has yet given the very good explanation for this extremely traditional Belgian ølstil suddenly enjoying a rapid growth among toneangivede ølnørder. Except of course that it is an extremely delicate drink in all its refined simplicity. But we have committed a sin. We could not help it. Indeed, we have poured our Amager variant of Saison on a wooden barrels. We hope that the soft tannins from the wood and the noble Pinot Noir grapes gives a swollen appearance added twist. We know that we may call upon Saison-fundamentalists angry with this prank. But to be honest, we do not care.

Siren Noire

This year’s Siren Noire Imperial Chocolate Stout has been revamped. We’ve aged it for three weeks in bourbon barrels, which gives the beer darker notes of raisin and fig. We’ve also tripled the amount of chocolate nibs and added vanilla bean. A mix of dark malts gives Siren Noire a well-rounded body that is decidedly chocolatey—but without being extraordinarily sweet. Mt. Hood hops contribute a fruity hop profile, with notes of black currant.

Siren's Song

The mahogany colored ale has a thick, creamy tan head and distinct lacing. Aromas of roasted malt and dark fruit are pronounced. The flavor begins with sweetness and caramel notes and finishes smooth with lingering hints of caramelized sugar and balanced bitterness. Brewed with pilsner, midnight wheat, and soft red wheat malts, Sirens’ Song is hopped with noble varieties for balanced hopping. The figs and raisins used in brewing not only add to the complexity of the beer but also represent cargo lost to the sea because of the bewitching sirens’ songs.

Sirin Pale Ale

Sirin: a mythological creature, half woman, half bird, notorious for luring mortals to their deaths with her seductive, enchanting song. Despite this, the Sirin is also a sign of eternal happiness. Our Sirin Pale Ale leans towards this latter definition, although its seductively bitter drinkability will certainly lure you back for more. The addition of pilsner malts to the mainly 2-Row malt profile gives this hoppy pale a crisp, dry body. Chinook and Nugget hops lend it an herbal, piney flavor and aroma. Try a pint today, you just might find eternal happiness.
