Skully Red IPA

After our FRED, Big Wednesday and (who could forget) Lamb-Borghini IPA's, we have finally ventured into the world of Red IPA's! 'Skully' Red IPA - part of our 'Short Supply' series – is a deep red colour from the European caramalts, with a distinctive hop aroma from the US West Coast hops. The generous amounts of Mosaic and Mt Hood hops give this IPA a strong piney/citrus/herbal aroma and flavour balanced with undertones of caramel from the malts. Delicious with a Massaman Curry!

This 7% Double Dunkelweizen is unfiltered and made with over 50% wheat malt along with pale, munich, and a touch of chocolate to give it the traditional color and flavor. Bitterness is subdued to allow the Weihenstephen yeast to shine through with those traditional notes of banana and clove. Available in March in bottles and draft. Recipe by Chris Wilson, Head Brewer.
