A stronger, maltier, hoppier version of our Iron Butt Red, this ale is a popular summer choice.

Named after Boise's Slaughterhouse Gulch and its historical meat packing businesses, this brew is as bold and rugged as the miners and packers that traveled its path when it was known as "The Oregon Trail". This fall seasonal is an India Red Ale featuring Amarillo hops, known for their dark, fruity characteristics. While higher in alcohol by volume, a roasted malt base offsets the hops and balances the heat of the alcohol for a subtle, rich finish.

Brewed with Weyermann pilsner, our house saison yeast blend, and a hint of Amarillo hops. This strong saison has a huge nose of mango and black pepper, and a medium body.

This traditional bavarian style lager is brewed in early winter and aged until our annual release in mid-spring. Its dark mahogany hue is visually enticing & represents this bold heavily bodied complex bier. Flavors are intense & chewy, with molasses, caramel, & lingering dark sugars that are incredibly smooth & creamy yet humbly complex. This special brew towers with alcohol that is enhanced by modest carbonation.

Created by George Sleeman in the late 1800s, Sleeman Cream Ale was the first brand produced by the two Guelph breweries, and still remains our most recognized brand. Tasting notes: Made from a variety of five imported hops, Sleeman Cream Ale's authentic North American style combines the easy drinking nature of a lager and the rich fruity character of an ale. Crafted from page 64 of the original Sleeman family recipe book, our Cream Ale has rich golden hue. You'll notice a slight fruity aroma, pear or apple, with this medium-bodied, very well-balanced ale.

A deep copper colored, malty, and full bodied ale. Very low hop flavor and aroma allow the distinctive caramel character to dominate. Smooth and warming. Like Barley Wine, Wee Heavy is a cool weather favorite.

Sleeping Forever is our imperial stout This will only be brewed once a year and will be released on our anniversary. This will be the only opportunity to get this year's batch to take home. This year's batch is unique because it will be the only year that Sleeping Forever will be 100% stainless. Next year we will blend a small amount of bourbon barrel aged Sleeping Forever into the the canned version. We will release 100% bourbon barrel aged Sleeping Forever next year also.

Intensely malty, but with a distinct hop bitterness, our first high-gravity beer features prominent fruity esters, subtle roastiness, and a boozy nose.

Imperial Stout

Time has slipped by again and we are confronted with a myriad of changes in the seasons of autumn and winter. Beautiful arrays of different colored foliage have magically appeared on the trees. Chillier weather has started to encompass our lives day by day. It's time to start burning wood in the fireplace to drive the cold from the extremities. It's also the time of year to savor the potion of your choice to warm the bones and soothe the soul. And one can't think of anything better than the McMenamins classic seasonal brew, Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown. Sleepy Hollow Nut Brown's chestnut color and medium body will cast an otherworldly spell over you. The complex malt character, well balanced with Chinook and US Golding hops, will have you walking in a continual reverie. Legend has it that Ichabod Crane downed a few Nut Brown Ales listening to local ghost tales and scary legends at the Van Tassel merry-making party before his fateful trip home. Be watchful and clear-headed on your way home lest you begin to grow fanciful, see shapes and shadows in the night and hear things in the howling wind. It may just be your imagination running away with you or it very well may be the Headless Horseman on his fire-breathing black stallion following you!

Sleepyhead - Passion Fruit Imperial Kölsch. Made with a boat load of 100% passion fruit. Tart and delicious.

Tis the season… for a dark German wheat beer. Our Dunkel uses a mild dose of German and English hops, along with Pale 2-Row, Wheat, and specialty malts to create a mellow and tangy wheat flavor. With a dark brown color reminiscent of Rudolph’s yule log, this beer will defiantly stimulate the senses…among other things.

A delicious northwest seasonal brewed with winter in mind. A dark double alt, malty, nourishing and delicious, it's sure to keep the winter at bay, and yes, Sleigh'r does rock!

This 5.9% medium-bodied IPA has an auburn color and carries the flavors of gold nectarines with the aromatics of white peaches.
