Tier de Garde is a Belgian Style India Pale Ale brewed with grapefruit peel. It is the third in our acclaimed Belgian Style Series. Tier de Garde is akin to a Belgian Tripel crossed with an American IPA. Deep copper in color with a thick, rocket white head and persistent lacing. It is noticeably hazy with yeast and sediment visible. Carefully pour it into your favorite glass. Citrusy, hoppy and spicy with some sweetness in the aroma, while being dry and effervescent on the tongue. The flavor is bitter and spicy, peppery and grapefruit zest is apparent. Also expect floral and apricot/pear notes. As we’ve done throughout the series, our in-house art director teamed up with Nate Duval for this label. The theme of this illustration centered around a surreal bicycle and pedaling through an old European city.

Tigerlily is a golden sour beer aged in oak barrels with ginger and hibiscus. Fermented with Brettanomyces yeast and Lactobacillus bacteria, this sour beer displays notes of ginger along with floral undertones. A big component of sour beer is blending. While it typically happens on a larger scale with our barrels and in our blending tanks, the idea for this blend came on a much smaller scale Jay decided to blend Sourtooth Tiger and Cosmic Dust from our taps. The flavor combination was an instant hit, and Tigerlily was born.
