Here’s a beer that will get you through the afternoon and into the night. The Swing Shift is a full-bodied dark beer, yet highly drinkable. As you drink it, you will note dark roasted malt, coffee, and caramel aromas and flavors. These malt-derived flavors are balanced through the judicious use of Galena, Fuggle, and Golding hops.

The result is this seductive brown ale built to exhibit the fruity notes of fair trade, organic Honduras Finca Los Tuneles & Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Yirgz Microlot beans, carefully roasted and cold brewed at Victory to meld beautifully with our lush brown ale.

A homage to bygone times: Saison beers that were brassate by the peasants of the Belgian region of Hainaut (Walloon part) during the late winter and spring, to be drinking in the summer. These beers were often the result of fermentation a little "wild", in which the yeasts of the genus Brettanomyces gave a sort of rustic character and vinous beer, but made very fine and pleasant time. This beer was fermented using a specific strain of Brettanomyces and refined in bottles for at least 10 months before being offered for sale. In the glass, the nose and the palate and. .. It has a golden yellow colour, with a fine opalescent perlage, is lively and crisp, with a large head of foam and a sparkle decided that tends to escape from the bottle (prolonged activity of Brettanomyces during fermentation made it very foamy). Has a young freshness, spicy and slightly tart. The yeast character is unmistakable: dry and dry (typical from Saison), with just a hint of spicy hotness, mild but distinctive acidity and bitterness by Barboza in unmistakable nose does it just peeping, while off-roading in the mouth freely. This beer has a unique character: haughty nor not bold, but either submissive or hypocritically "do gooder". Succeeds wonderfully at melding balance, elegance and the rusticity of Brettanomyces, which is progressively thinner over time and makes increasingly complicated and roundabout with the years.

So our newest beer historically hails from the city of Vienna but has strong ties to Mexico as well. There was an influx of immigrant brewers to Mexico in the 19th century and Vienna Lager was a fave of Maximilian I during his wing-ding there according to all things internet. This lager style is very robust in flavor as a result of its namesake malt (vienna) which is roughly the color of Pale malt. These beers are typically decoction mashed which is a time honored method for lager brewing in Germany but we have an infusion mash tun, so guess what? I think our mash tun did a pretty good job. Copper colored, Hallertau hopped, clean, bready, nutty, and 4.4%. Thank the city of Vienna next time you're there.

Smooth, malty amber lager with a delicate hop aroma and balanced bitterness from Perle and Mt Hood varieties.

This is an easy drinking lager, amber red in color, with a little bit of malted wheat making for a nicely balanced beer.

Pronounced hop presence with distinctive earth and pine notes. Supported by a woodsy and woody malt nose, and very rounded draw. Wide, bitter, with a dry finish, this IPA is distinctive to Minnesota's Midwestern roots and features.

While “lager” generally conjures images of clear, yellow beer with a crisp character, this is a darker take on the style. The color tends toward a dark burgundy, with the Vienna malt in particular bringing a tinge of spice to the full, malt-forward body. Vanguard hops provide an earthy bedrock for this winter-friendly brew.

Robyn, who created our Vienna lager recipe, likes to pair this beer with bratwurst. Sho, another Moody Ales brewer, prefers it with carnitas. Makes sense—this style, originally developed in Vienna in the 1840s, lost popularity in Europe over the nineteenth century but thrived in Mexico with Austrian emigrant brewers. Our interpretation of the classic Vienna lager - pale amber in color, medium bodied, ever so slightly toasty from Munich and Vienna malts, complimented by a grassy noble hop nose.

The original amber lager developed by Anton Dreher shortly after the isolation of lager yeast in the mid 19th century. Characterized by soft, elegant maltiness that dries out in the finish to avoid becoming overly sweet. Cold-aged for 10 weeks.

Ahhh, Austria. Narrow cobble streets, a whiff of schnitzel in the air, and the taste of our wunderbar Oktoberfest Lager bier - lightly hopped and brewed with slightly sweet caramel malt. Pairs perfectly with lederhosen. Prost!

This is a SMASH beer, meaning Single Malt And Single Hop. We used only Vienna malt and Saaz hops in this ale. It is slightly malty with a light biscuit note. It has a mild, earthy and spicy hop profile.
