Vivat Bio is a blond high fermentation beer, fermented in open vats, skimmed off the old (in spades). Brewed with malted barley, but also wheat, it develops aromatic notes very fresh and unusual for organic beer.

A triple fermented golden premium beer, brewed from a unique process using two different yeasts and an old regional secret. This “Bière de Garde” is refermented in bottle and has rich, copious and persistent foam. With it slightly cloudy aspect, Vivat Triple is of a great aromatic complexity. It delivers very good hope bitterness at the finish. It has been rewarded in 2008, by the most prestigious award for food and drinks’ quality in France: Golden medal at the “Concours agricole de Paris”.

Viven Blond is made by the unique recipe of its inventor Willy De Lobel. The blond Viven is a nice companion to many dishes and salads. It is a real thirst quencher. Viven blond is a little summer in your glass! Hops: Hops of Poperinge

Viven Imperial IPA is originally from the west coast of America. This recipe, combined with the Flemish brewing art, has an excellent result. It does many beer lovers' hearts beat faster. It is a bitter hunk with a beautiful balance of citrus keys (especially pink grapefruit) and floral tones. A true experience for the senses… Hops: Tomahawk + Simcoe

Well, it’s been a fine run. This group of German-inspired amber lagers have sold incredibly well thanks to all of your good tastes. The final one in the series, #3, is appropriately an Oktoberfest lager as brewed for 201 years in celebration of German culture and the marriage of Princess Therese and Prince Ludwig. As I write this over 5 million people are in Munich celebrating culture and beer. Well, I can’t take you there, but what I have done is make a lager that would rival any found at the festival. Using only Pilsner, Munich and Vienna malts this lager has a huge fresh toasted bread aroma with the slightest spice from some of Europe’s finest hops. The body is substantial, yet refreshing due to a firm, but balanced bitterness. I have enjoyed brewing these beers for all of you and I look forward (as I hope you do to) to releasing them once again next year.

All light vanishes here. The pitch-black color and cocoa-espresso aroma and flavor are derived from roasted barley, while the complexity is enhanced by the strength of this foreign-style stout.

Vokuhila is a strong lager developed and brewed by Local Option Bierwerker. This maibock is golden in color with a large, creamy, persistent white head; aromatically driven by robust toast and bread notes derived from continental European pale malts with moderate spice from noble German hops. Vokulhila will be appreciated by lager and mullet enthusiasts alike.

This light and crisp lager is brewed with Pilsner and American barley malts and dry hopped with Alsatian Goldings and Strisselspalt for a floral noble hop aroma. Crisp, clean, and light, this beer is brewed for the people.

Tommy D, always the conductor, kept us grounded with his three-pronged wisdom: “Like love, boys, it starts with a spark. When the field is fully charged, flip the switch: Voltage!”
