Real spearmint and peppermint Not extract — combine with cocoa nibs and vanilla beans to create your reward for making it through winter. Ancient Greeks tell us (’cause we talk to them) that Persephone turned Minthe into a mint plant in a jealous rage, to keep the little nymph away from her man Hades. Jealous rages rarely end well, but if one did result in mint we’re glad: this is a unique and delicious stout, and we recommend having one while you calm the hell down. SOUL MATES - A sweet stout with real peppermint, spearmint, cocoa nibs and vanilla beans. A great dessert beer, or try it alongside any dish with mint in it, like Thai Grilled Beef Salad.

As opposed to its bigger Czech cousin Peck’s Pilsner, our German Pils is a traditional German-style brau. The renowned German Hallertau Mittelfruh hop and pilsner malt produce a lighter-bodied pils that finishes crisp yet soft. So authentic and drinkable, it cries “Bring on the liters!”

Fresh powder, single track, class V; gravity is our friend. The old school crew in the Valley might remember Vertical Drop as a long forgotten black diamond run on the Grand Mesa. A malty, hoppy, red ale with some weight to it.

As with any good epic, herein lies the promise of larger-than-life experiences, heroics and twists & turns as the adventure unfolds. These bottle-conditioned ales are specifically designed to be aged until sometime after December 12th, 2012. Provided you can wait that long. At that time, enjoy them in a "vertical" tasting. Each one unique to it's year of release. Each with its own "twist & turn" in the plotline. Each one released one year, one month and one day from the previous year's edition.

Very Seldom Naughty is a special release of our farmhouse hefeweizen, Blondine. Blondine is aged on white wine lees from TX wineries highlighting Texas grown, TX white wine. Aged in barrel until secondary fermentation is complete before bottle conditioning with fresh wort.

Rich and malty, special British ale yeast developed by the Brewer's Science Institute in Colorado, American Centennial and Cascade hops, Chocolate and Wheat malts

The beer is a big lager. 7.1% abv, not big enough to carry the Imperial tag, but big for a Pilsner style. It carries a classic lager fermentation profile - long cool fermentation and extended cold conditioning. This gives a dry, crisp yeast character typical of traditional lagers. It is aggressively hopped with a blend of Motueka, Nelson Sauvin and Pacifica hops, and carries a solid hop bitterness as a result. A dry hop addition adds to the fruity hop aromatics expected of a Pilsner inspired beer. The best available German malts lend enough body to just balance the hop load. Truly a premium lager in the best sense of the term!
