A full strength mahogany coloured beer, possessing the fine balance of pronounced hop bitterness & aroma against a a natural malty sweetness.

When asked how the decision to produce a Mexican-style lager came about, AleSmith owner/CEO, Peter Zien replied, “The band members are all big fans of this style of beer. We wanted to create our thirst-quenching version of a traditional Vienna-style lager (famously brewed by the Mexican breweries) that showcases a grainy, malt-forward sweetness and easy drinkability. Our Harvested Apple Lager is a new take on beer. Using 30% cider from the Pacific Northwest, the beer offers an amazing aroma of fresh apples. On the palate there is a slight tartness that is complemented by a slight hop bitterness. The overall impression is a lager beer that is dry on the palate yet crisp and refreshing and bursting with apple flavors and aroma.

Imperial Red IPA has a large charge of hops, including over 44 pounds of Falconer's Flight! You can expect a dose of piney, resiny, and tropical characteristics.
