Strawberry Gose (pronounced goes-uh), is a German style wheat beer from the Leipzeg region, known for it’s salt mines. Our Gose is light and bright with a delicate strawberry nose. You brew Always Blue Westcoast IPA, a hyper-dry India Pale Ale with a laser beam of hop aromas and a desolate landscape of malt character. Upon launch this IPA scores big with immense hop-derived notes of juicy papaya, sun-ripened pears, and lemon blossom; perfectly showcasing the complimentary shaft angle that Simcoe and Lemon Drop hops share as they stand tip to tip waiting for the beer to finish. More bitter than a predatory flautist and with sweetness that is harder to find than the floating island community of Arallon, we like to think of Always Blue as the Westcoast IPA version 2.0.

Not only did we brew this beer with more than 10 different hops, we brewed it specifically NOT to last. For this version of Stone Enjoy By IPA, we thought: “We don’t always have a filter, so why should our beer?” By skipping a step and letting this devastatingly fresh, golden-hued double IPA go unfiltered, the beer takes on a hazy appearance and its peach and tropical fruit hop aromas are intensified. So though it may sound like it, this missed step was no misstep.
