She has a shimmery depth, like light on the fathomless sea. Our brewer's wife, Eileen, inspired the name of this beer. "Shimmer" is a German-Style Pilsner, a true lager with a balanced hoppiness. It is crisp and refreshing, but certainly not bland.

Blonde made its debut as the original recipe Kosmos Spoetzl brought to the "Little Brewery." A golden lager that pays sincere tribute to its Bohemian roots, Shiner Blonde carries a distinctive flavor followed by a satisfying, smooth finish. Although our Blonde owes its heritage to the German homeland, it represents the best of a true American lager. That's our Shiner Blonde - red, white and brewed.

Bohemian Black Lager, crafted according to exacting old-world standards with imported Czech Saaz, Styrians Hops and selected roasted malts, is the darkest beer we brew. Initially added to the Shiner family as our 97 Anniversary Brew, the unique and complex flavor of this rare brew found such a following among our customers that we brought it back for good!

Kosmos Spoetzl knew how to brew great beer. Born in Bavaria, Kosmos mastery of German brewing carried him as far as Egypt before he found his way to the small Texas town of Shiner. Our proud brewery still carries his name and commitment to excellence in brewing. This full-flavored, hop-jacked lager is every bit as unique as the man himself and our way of saluting the brewmaster who started it all.

Shining Dawn is a unique Belgian style golden ale fermented with a special Belgian Yeast Strain. Expect a slightly earthy, spicy aroma. Shining Dawn’s flavor is crisp and clean but with very pronounced yeast characteristics. This is a very complex yet refreshing offering that finishes a little dry, encouraging the next taste.

The destroyer, the creator, the benefactor; Shiva is all these things. We set out to create an IPA that anyone can enjoy, and we think we succeeded. As the flagship beer in our lineup, we've yet to encounter a soul who believes contrary. A crisp, citrusy Indian Pale Ale with a light color, Shiva will destroy all your preconceptions of an IPA. A transcendentally simple malt bill accents a generous helping of Columbus hops, lending an intense floral aroma with hints of grapefruit and a pleasant bittering quality. Your palette will be lifted to a higher planes of consciousness with a bittersweet finish.

Our interpretation of a classic English beer style is copper-colored, medium-bodied and highly hopped. Its flavor is delightfully complex: tangy fruit at the start, with an assertive hop crispness and a long malty palate that one well-known beer writer has compared to the flavor of freshly-baked bread.

This All-American Ale is handcrafted with US 2 Row Barley, American Whole Flower Hops and Yeast. The Malt build for this ale enables you to enjoy toasted grain and caramel flavor while the American Hops supply a Citrus/Piney bitter flavor and aroma.

Short Circuit Stout is a full-bodied and roasty stout with a lingering sweet aftertaste. It uses 5 different malts to create a variety of flavors that change in the course of taking a sip. It falls into the13B Sweet Stout style category as identified by the Beer Judge Certification Program (BJCP).

This isn’t your average amber ale. We appreciate the time you took in selecting this fine beer. We are confident you will enjoy every drop. Seriously, one sip is probably not going to be cause for alarm, but by the time you finish this bottle you may never be able to enjoy a “regular” run-of-the-mill beer again. Immense malt body will take your palate hostage; its balanced hop bitterness will write your taste buds a ransom note. It may sneak into your house, rearrange your living room furniture, shave your cat, and change the message on your voicemail while you sleep. A malty brown ale conditioned with real vanilla beans. This beer was made for a friend's wedding, with no intention of ever making it again. The folks at the reception had other plans. The use of real vanilla beans is costly and time consuming, but one sip and you will understand why.

Ah yes… the name. Why? Because sometimes you just need to give someone a nice tall glass of Shut the Fook Up! This pleasantly malt forward Pale Ale is well balanced with German Hallertau, Willamette and East Kent Goldings hops. Mild, easy drinking, and sure to put a smile on your face.

Imperial stouts like this one are by far the "Grand Daddies" of all stouts. For those who demand flavor, this is the perfect libation.

An old Hertfordshire saying alluding to the uselessness of anything. Although now sadly passed into disuse, we at Tring Brewery are leading the campaign to restore this wonderful old expression to its rightful place in popular parlance. Unmistakable citrus notes from only the best Cascade hops balanced with a floral aroma and crisp dry finish make this straw coloured ale a fantastic session beer.

Creamy, malty, and full-bodied, the Sierra Nevada Stout is satisfyingly rich. Caramel and Black malts give the Stout its deep, dark color and pronounced roasted flavor. “Sierra Nevada Stout is admirable from nose to finish, with notes of malty sweetness to the palate but plenty of bitterness available to set up a stimulating counterpoint.”

This easily approachable IPA is light copper in colour and brewed with lightly kilned barley and rye malts. Numerous hop additions provide supple aromas of stone fruit and melon that finish with a crisp hop tang. While this beer is packed with flavour, it is light enough in body to be enjoyed with a wide range of dishes. In Norse mythology, ‘Sigrun’ is a Valkyrie, representing a selection of strong and wise women tasked with deciding who lived and died in battle. On a more personal note, Sigrun (more affectionately known as ‘Runa’) is the grand matriarch of Odin Brewing. Her name is Old Norse and roughly translates to ‘Victory Rune’. Her namesake IPA pays homage to a strong and wonderful woman with a balanced and approachable character.

A good silhouette can create feelings of excitement, mystery, joy, awe, and even fear. Silhouette Dark has captured many of these emotions in a delicious mixture of dark malts combined with Northern Brewer, Willamette and Golding hops. Originally designed as a winter brew, this favorite of the brewmaster’s wife was quickly made into an ale that can be enjoyed in any season. Don’t be afraid of the dark! At least not Silhouette Dark.
