The Weihenstephaner Kristallweizenbock is an almost forgotten breeder, which was already in the middle of the 50s in Weihenstephan. A label from this time prompted our Braumeister to re-place the crystal wheat buckwheat. They refined the Bockbier with the exquisite aroma pot varieties Hallertauer sapphire, opal, emerald and pearl, which lend him his noble hop flowers. Combined with the fine banana aroma from the yeast and its wonderfully creamy foam, the Kristallweizenbock is a unique taste experience. Due to the gentle filtration, the crystal-clear, golden color of the Bock beer is produced. The crystal whey is perfect for grilled meat, spicy cheese, but also for fish and seafood.
Starting from March 2017, the crystal wheat buckwheat is available in limited bottling.
