Big notes of tropical fruit burst open in the aroma from the 7 C's hops while Chinook hops contribute bitterness and a slight piney flavor in our double IPA. Five different malts give the beer a complex and chewy mouthfeel.

Released for the fall of our first year, this brew displays a hearty unfiltered brown color and is pleasantly dry with a slightly roasty finish. An excellent brew to savor during our cold and windy fall days.

We make beer, so we really have no reason to condemn most things. On the other hand, you are opinionated (we get it), but why be a buzz kill and express disapproval when you can loudly and enthusiastically express approval? Beer drinking is fun, exciting, and often times challenging, so let’s be Pollyannaish about the experience that each new sip provides. This Belgian Golden Strong Ale is brewed with mostly Belgian pilsner malts and a whole bunch of Belgian candi sugar. We then added lots and lots of apricots because apricots are cool and Shakespeare called them an aphrodisiac in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.” We’re not sure if that’s true or not, but if you look at them a certain way, they do look like a butt.

Our Second beer is a Belgain-style golden strong ale. Both beers are highly aromatic with clean citrus-esters. There are peppery and spicy notes with no earthiness and low phenols. Be prepared for a silky and rich mouthfeel in very dry finished beers.

An Amber Vienna Lager with toasted, malty flavor and a color reminiscent of a Texas sunset, it’s the perfect thirst quencher for those who prefer a bit of a bolder lager.

Light, crisp and dry, this pilsner was made with Weyermann floor malted pilsner malt. Slightly malty, it has an assertive hop flavor and bitterness. Our lightest colored beer to date.

This unfiltered addition of ACE is to honor the owner, Jeffrey House’s wife who played Brea Tonnika in the cantina scene in the original Star Wars. Her picture is featured on the bottleneck. This limited edition cider comes in a clear bottle so you can see the vivid orange hue. ACE Space Bloody Orange is out of this world!

In Dante’s Inferno, the Acheron river forms the border of Hell. At MHBC, Acheron is our deeply dark and ravishing imperial stout. Aged six months in whiskey barrels and unblended for maximum barrel flavor, this 12% abv stout will satiate your sinuous desires for something bold, burly, boozy, and barbarous. Acheron is brewed with black malts, black barley, chocolate malts, Crystal malts and oats. Its finished with brown sugar and Columbus hops to balance its leviathan body. Drinking this beer will help Charon determine your fate.

A true Munich-style Lager, with roasted malts giving plenty of character. Lighter in body than the dark ales, this amber beer has a mild, sweet finish. Prost!

The French translation of sour, Acide, is our second trip into the increasingly popular style of kettle soured beers. The use of lactobacillus in this brew lends an approachable level of puckering sourness, pleasant acidity, and a tart refreshing finish on your tongue. Acide pours straw colored with good clarity and visuals. Lemony and floral aromas arise from a good dose of Amarillo hops, and meld with a subtle graininess. Acide has been a hit with brewery staff.
