Doppelbock has been our winter seasonal since day one and the first Aviator Doppelbck debuted in the winter of 1998. Doppelbocks are noted for their rich, bread-like malt flavors, and this year’s offering has a luscious blend of the best German Munich malts from the Weyermann Specialty Malting Company located in Bamberg, Germany along with some other malts that we choose to keep to ourselves. Aviator Doppelbock is served mit naturtrüb, or “with natural cloud”. Not only does this contribute to its rich palate, but it also makes this one of those stronger beers that holds up well during storage.

This bold and big bodied double strong bock is dark and malty with good hop character from German Tettnang and Hallertau vartieties. A meal in a glass!

English session beer with low hop bitterness - think Boddingtons or Tetley's

Avocado Ale made it’s official debut at Avocado Fest 2013. This Kolsch-style ale is brewed with avocados straight from our brewer Dieter’s grandmother’s avocado ranch. Other guacamole-inspired ingredients are added to the brewing process, like fresh cilantro, crushed red pepper and lime, making it a refreshing ale with a smooth finish.

Awake is a robust, lively porter for the senses. Its nose of toffee and cacao leads into rich flavors of coffee roast and baker's chocolate. It finishes bitter with a hint of sweetness.

Awesome Amber is American Amber Ale. This is a well balanced beer that focuses mostly on the malts.

This is the first Tighthead beer created by our brewer Adam. He started with a blend of 7 malts, hopped it up with Galaxy and Centennial hops, fermented it dry with our house ale yeast, then aged it in second-use Woodford Reserve bourbon barrels for 5 months. The resulting complex strong ale has a whiskey-like nose with vanilla and caramel notes and a bitter dark chocolate flavor with a dry, warming finish. “THIS IS some AWESOME SAUCE!”

Hallertau Blanc and Galaxy.

Our full flavoured, strong India Pale Ale. Now hopped with Amarillo, Citra and Nelson Sauvin. This beer has a pale straw-amber body, and pours with a full creamy head. Its complex flavours include mandarin orange, schnapps, pineapple, and juicy tropical fruits. It is warmingly alcoholic with a dry finish.

A notorious Northwest style red. Deep color and silky layered complex flavoring. If you like reds, Axeman does not disappoint. A tribute to our local logging heritage.

Brewed for tap walls overrun with the white noise of West Coast IPA's, here’s an offering so exotic, you’d think it was from another world. Like its namesake before it, the axis deer of Southern Asia, so too has this species (beverage?) of hop-forward animal magnetism come to invade the landscape of IPA’s that have long held sway over the taps of Texas’s finest watering holes. Tropical fruit, citrus, and a pale golden body, help keep this breed light on its feet. And with few natural predators there is little anyone can do to stop the spread. IPA may not have been born in Texas, but it will soon seem as native as the sky that stretches between its borders.

This classic American Style Pale Ale has been honed and perfected for over 15 years. Tens of thousands of pints have been joyfully savored. The beer has a light amber color and a medium body. The hops grab center stage and carry the flavor with a light drying citrusy palate. Although hoppy, the beer is easy drinking

A traditional English style, brewed with all english malts yet fermented with American yeast. Dark copper in color and nicely hopped with an intense malt backbone.

Ayinger Lager Hell is the typical every day drink in Bavaria. Together with wheat beer this Muenchener Hell style is the most famous beer style in the Bavarian south. As people in Bavaria are very demanding as far as their daily drink is concerned the brewers are very aware of the necessity to brew a yellow-golden beer with a light malt taste. It is crisp, smooth and mellow. A perfectly balanced taste and aroma. Ayinger Lager Hell is often used for cooking and it can be paired with many typical Bavarian dishes like for example beef, pork and cold meat with radish and Brez’n.

Choosing from the most rare and interesting varieties, our genius team of brewers is releasing four Single Hop Imperial IPAs in 2016. Like a delicious science experiment, each has the same grist bill to highlight the individual hop variety.

A single hop IPA brewed to showcase the beloved Azacca hop variety. This beer has a well balanced malt body and bitterness with a complex resin and pine hop flavor, finishing with a unique bouquet of light peach and vanilla.
