Atmosphera Tripel

Light in both color and body, the Sugar Creek Anniversary Atmosphera Belgian Tripel boasts complex fruit and spice flavors derived from our unique Belgian yeast strain. Look forward to a delightfully tart and refreshing hint of lemon zest, supported by a soft pilsner malt backbone and a warming alcoholic finish. Our Beer Engineers, along with the four guest brewers who won our golden #TicketToRide contest, brewed this Belgian style Tripel specifically for our one year anniversary. The four guest brewers received a golden "ticket to ride," which won them an exclusive gift box and a brewing experience of a life time. The inaugural release of this beer was on Sugar Creek Brewing Company’s one year anniversary in November of 2015.

Atom SMaSHer

SMaSH stands for Single Malt and Single Hop. With little to distract the taste buds from the grain, you can focus on the flavor, texture and mouthfeel that it brings to the brew. In this case we used Marris Otter grain which has been described as having both a “bready” and “nutty” flavor and delivers a medium body. The hops showcased in this brew are Cascade hops, with a citrusy flavor and slightly floral scent that brings a pleasant odor to the nose, a bite to the taste buds and a slightly lingering finish.

Atomic Kangarue

We’ve been friends with the folks at Smog City for many years and getting to brew a beer with them was a dream come true. Truly, only in the world of dreams could this remarkable beer have been manifested. A Belgian-style golden ale, brewed with Semillon and Viognier grapes plus three types of hops, fermented with Brettanomyces Trois as well as our house yeast strain, then blended with a sour blonde ale and finally dry-hopped with Amarillo hops. This beer couldn’t be more complex and we couldn’t be more proud of it.

Atomic Mutation

Since 1992, Atomic has become widely renowned for being the source for books, comics, zines, toys, and all sorts of amazing literary oddities. It’s owners Benn Ray & Rachel Whang not only run one of Baltimore’s best small businesses, but they are also stalwart community and small business advocates. Two years ago, Benn & Rachel opened a little bar in the back of book shop called Eightbar and stocked it full of awesome craft brews, and that is when we knew we wanted to make a beer with and for them. Atomic Mutation Dry-hopped Saison is a 6.7% belgian-style farmhouse ale dry-hopped with citra & nelson sauvin hops. This beautiful brew showcases a wonderful belgian yeast strain with notes of apple, pear, & apricot and then finishes dry with an almost white wine grape character. Artwork created by Andrea Kalfas

Atramentous

Atramentous is as dark in name as it is in color, but its jet-black hue is hardly enough to conceal the myriad of flavors, some brighter than you might imagine but all as bold as you could ever hope. Bourbon-barrel aging adds that always-welcome hint of smoky wood to the dark, malty base of Belgian stout, but this beer refuses to stop there. A refermentation of wild brett yeasts and lacto bestows an earthy tartness that ultimately yields one surprisingly complex and remarkably satisfying brew.

Atrial Rubicite

We added several hundred pounds of raspberries to oak barrels containing mature sour beer. We then allowed the beer to re-ferment to dryness. The result is Atrial Rubicite, our first barrel aged sour beer to incorporate fruit. Atrial Rubicite is made from well water, barley, wheat, hops, farmhouse yeast, native yeast from the Texas Hill Country, souring bacteria and raspberries. It is unfiltered, unpasteurized and 100% bottle conditioned.
