In honor of the Florida-Georgia football game - Terrapin Beer Co. of Athens, GA and Swamp Head Brewery of Gainesville, FL - traveled to neutral territory in Jacksonville to collaborate on a brew with Intuition Ale Works. From the corners of the south, these are two of the toughest fighters to ever prowl the woods. Choose a champion and grab a seat at the bar with this peach orange Berliner-style weisse in your hand. Put your game face on…this is going to be a BACKYARD BRAWL and only the grand master will be left standing. Hadouken! Berliner-weisse w/ oranges and peaches.

Rauchbier is a blend of German beechwood and Wisconsin cherrywood smoked malts. Noble German hops and fresh black pepper add a subtle bite. The yeast strain keeps the body light to balance the huge flavors and nose, making it perfect for food pairing without being overbearing.

The Herd doesn’t often miss meals, and it’s easy to figure out we like food as much as beer. Aged on soft maple with a subtle dash of smoked malt, this imperial red ale starts out with a juicy berry burst followed by a 1-2 punch of Aleppo and Chipolte peppers on the finish. Who needs to eat breakfast when you can drink it? Raspberry up front. Nice heat on the back end. Maple wood and smoke are very subtle.

Our CBBC Stout is a true “Breakfast Beer.” Adding oatmeal in the grain bill and smoked bacon post-fermentation gives our stout a great smokey flavor and rich mouthfeel. This beer may sound like a meal, but at 5% ABV, our Stout is a session beer that will leave you asking for another pint of “Bacon.”

Bad Elf from the Ridgeway Brewery is a strong Christmas pale ale heavily influenced by American micro brewing styles. This was the first beer in their Christmas series originally designed for the American market but the first batch fell foul of the US authorities becausethe label featured an "ELF WARNING" advising that "excessive consumption might affect your ability to operate toy making machinery". They were accused of mocking the American government's attempts to educate consumers and had to re-lable the lot. Packed with citrussy hop flavours this is the baby of the range at 6% ABV. Yes, you read it right!

Our Red Lager's a delicious result of Cologne malt melding with Czech and German hops, introduced to especially amorous South Bavarian yeast in the intimacy of the fermentation vessel. Things have settled down somewhat after we cooled things down with a nice extended stay in the lagering vessel, so it's time to enjoy this not really bad - she just looks that way beer.
