With fresh local honey, lemon and ginger this summer beer is delicate and refreshing. We gave this beer a healthy dose of wheat to give it a billowing white head and kept the alcohol and bitterness low. We love our hops, but with this beer it’s about something different, like rolling down the windows in your car on a perfect central coast evening. This beer is all about refreshment and summertime. Very limited release.

Introducing our Kolsch Style Ale, the lightest and cleanest beer in our portfolio. Similar to a traditional European style Kolsch, but with a West Coast Kiwi spin on it. It embodies subtle notes of the pear and a yeastiness characteristic of a traditional Kolsch, yet slightly hoppy. Its body is light and fruity, complimented by mild pepper and gooseberry notes from the Nelson Sauvin hops. We kept it light and refreshing and gave it a dry, almost tart finish.

We nailed it! At least that’s what are customers keep telling us. Since the first batch on our full-sized brewhouse after upscaling from our pilot system our customers can’t get enough of this creamy stout. We designed it with oats for creaminess, lactose for residual sweetness, belgian dark syrup for intense dark fruit flavors, dark malts for chocolate and roast, and finally lots of hops for a (balanced) hoppy finish. Plus, without sacrificing flavor, we kept the finish and ABV as low as possible making our stout incredibly drinkable and full of flavor.

Barrett’s Farmhouse Ale-Is a straw-gold rustic ale “on lees” that evokes a time long ago with a robust yeast strain, that likes it hot…a vigorous top-fermenting classic that provides some of the best food pairing flavors on the planet. We temper this spicy, fruity yeast profile with pedigreed noble hops; East Kent Goldings for bittering and a generous dose of Hersbrucker for aroma. This beer will increase in complexity and dryness over time, providing a bit of insolent freshness up front, and more refined dignity even months after the brew date kept in the right conditions…above all upright and away from light.

Minimal hops highlight sweet malt notes. The sugars in this Scottish Ale are caramelized. Brown sugar and cinnamon notes.

Low in alcohol but big in flavor. This beer is dry hopped like an IPA but the alcohol and bitterness have been reduced for a great session beer.
