With just enough dark malt to be black this Porter leans toward the dry side in its malt profile. The addition of a partial sour mash (not uncommon in pre-Industrial Revolution Porters) lends a subtle tartness to the bittersweet chocolate flavour that dominates.

Extremely dark in color but surprisingly light on the palette, our stout is remarkably complex. With hints of chocolate and caramel, robust flavors of roasted malt come through to round this brew out. It is everything a stout should be: calming, cooling, and vastly flavorful.

One of the country’s best known and widely drunk ciders, it’s heart is in the West Country where it’s affectionately known as ‘Thorn’. Exactly why it’s called Blackthorn® is shrouded in mystery.

Floridian Dark Ale

Black IPA brewed with rye malts with a spicy chocolate finish

There are over 3,000 breweries in America today, and IPA is the number one craft beer style. Now we love our IPAs, but it’s downright comical the sheer volume of IPAs out there. There are White IPAs, Black IPAs, Brett IPAs, Oaked IPAs, blah blah blah, English IPAs, west coast IPAs, New England IPAs, blah blah blah, mango-jalapeno IPAs blah blah blah! At the 21A we take our beer very seriously but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We just want to have fun making great beers, and Blah Blah Blah IPA sure seemed like a good way to do it. Blah Blah Blah IPA is a maltier, amber-colored take of the traditional IPA. We incorporated some interesting malts including imported Baird Caramel 80, a darker, sweet crystal malt; Belgian biscuit malt to give it a toasty flavor; and German dark Munich malt for body and color. We also hopped this ale a bit differently than we normally do with most of the hops being added at different times very late in the boil for a full hop "jammy" flavor and bright aroma. We then dry-hopped it very agressively using five different hops including a newer experimental varietal to pack in flavors and aromas of pine, citrus, grapefruit and jam. Blah blah blah, just try it. In alliance with River North, friends and fellow lovers of Belgian yeast, we bring you two unique yet complimentary Saisons. Each of the beers blend both breweries' house saison yeast strains. The beers each take on their own complexion from there. Blanc is a traditional light Saison supplemented with chardonnay grapes and subsequently aged in Chardonnay barrels for over two months. Pairs well with burner phones.

Sour blonde ale: a Belgian Style Trippel aged in Red Wine Barrels with Brett

Our brewers developed Weyerbacher Blanche just after their trip to Belgium during the winter of 2000. Blanche, meaning “white”, gets its name from the light colored haze suspended in this pale-gold brew. The haze results from the high proportion of wheat used and from the yeast that remains in this unfiltered brew. White beers are well known as the principal product from Hoegaarden, a small town in a wheat-growing region east of Brussels. Light, cloudy and smooth, Weyerbacher Blanche brings you authentic Belgian-style flavor along with handcrafted quality and freshness. Just try a bottle of this thirst-quenching brew. In the nose you’ll notice a light spiciness from the coriander and dried Curacao orange peels. Overall, you’ll find a mild and refreshing 4.6% ale with a clean finish that follows with just a hint of tart spiciness. It is available April through July.
