Rich, malty, and complex with a surprisingly dry finish, this robust English-style porter is never cloying and wonderfully drinkable. A dense tan head portends the chocolate, roasty, brownie batter flavor. Marris otter barley imported from the UK imparts a deep nuttiness accentuated by the unique english yeast strain. The cheeky yeast generates subtle pear, apple and strawberry esters that gently contribute to the depth of flavor. The complex balance comes from imported UK target and fuggle hops, contributing earthy, herbaceous, tea-like notes. The result is a hefty brew that walks the fine line between eminent drinkability and overwhelming flavor impact

American IPA

Belgian yeast always produces unique flavors and this beer is no exception. Dominated by rich, malty characteristics this Belgian Brown Ale also features hints of dried fruit, toffee, and even some lingering Belgian yeast flavors. Nothing was typical about this beer’s creation and we’re sure you’ll find it interesting as well.

Having a love for traditional English Browns we used UK Fuggles and UK Goldings hops coupled with 2-Row Pale, Crystal 15 and Chocolate malts to craft this beauty. By doubling the amount of Fuggles and Goldings recommended for the original style we introduced a slightly higher hop flavor (read Westcoast style) to the traditional English Brown, and complimented the hoppyness with the additional of Chocolate malt. With an ABV of 5.8%, an IBU of of 24 and an SRM of 21, Deer Beer Brown is smooth, refreshing and packed with character.

Hi Neighbor! Great-Grandfather DeLucia made his first frozen lemonade back in Italy in 1840. During the winter he carried snow into nearby caves and insulated it with straw.
