Debbie Downer Dunkelweizen

Don't fight it. Spite it! Debbie Downer is a traditional German Dunkelweizen made with a base of wheat and Munich malt. A touch of black malt is added to give this beer its dark hue. The malts are complimented with a single addition of imported Hallertauer Hersbrucker hops. Add in some German yeast and you get a crisp, effervescent beer sure to quench your thirst and lift your spirits, after you encounter the miser of your Debbie Downer.

Decade India Pale Ale

Our special 10th anniversary beer is the biggest IPA we have had the nerve to make. Almost all Pale malt, with less than one percent each of Carastan and Wheat makes a beer quite pale for its size at 19 plato OG. We added Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops just about every place and every way we could think of - giving it lots of hop flavor and aroma and enough bitterness to complement the telltale sweetness of the malt. One patron says "It makes you smile so your mouth's big enough for the beer". 6.25% alcohol by weight 7.8% by volume.

Deciduous XPA

To be deciduous is to shed your leaves at maturity. This is strictly a seasonal process something that is natural. A process that is tied to the change in seasons when light rains begin to fall and the leaves turn to red. We brewed this beer to reflect that amber color of the leaf that is halfway though the trip. Giving way to something lighter and bright to reflect the first few rains of the fall. The brilliant hop character is like dried fruits, ripe with pineapple and apricot that are something you might enjoy at a holiday gathering. This beer is brewed for fall sessions with family and friends.

Decoy

At his restaurant, Eleven Madison Park, Chef Daniel Humm makes an extraordinary five spice roast duck. The genesis of Decoy is our notion that those spices would affectionate the fig notes of a Belgian Strong malt bill in the direction of a winter warmer. Cumin, coriander, lavender flowers, Sichuan red peppercorns and honey are added to Special B malts and Belgian candi sugars, with American ale yeast chosen because its esters enhance rather than dominate as would a Belgian. A strong, gently-spiced ale, Decoy is intended to sit next to or in place of a fire during the bracing cold of winter. Drink Decoy because life and spice…
