Dynamic Duo

This week's NoDable features a tasty twosome... a pleasing pair... a Dynamic Duo! Mosiac and Loral hops are the stars of this Imperial IPA. Loral hops are a brand new variety that have notes of pine and lemongrass, with hints of stonefruit. Mosaic hops balance the Loral perfectly with their tropical and fruity character. Cheers!

Dynamo Copper Lager

If malt and hops are the two poles of brewing, this beer is the gently spinning sweet spot between them. First, you'll notice the spicy aromas of Perle and Hallertau hops. Then - wipe the foam off the tip of your nose - dive into the toasty flavors of Vienna and Munich malts. Dynamo starts strong and finishes crisp and smooth. The balanced flavors, aromas, and even the coppery-red tones of this beer go great with everything. Fear no pairing. The best time to enjoy Dynamo is when you're thirsty. Dynamo Copper Lager goes great with pizza, neighborhood block parties, spring rolls, first dates, football games, whiskey, tapas, the Sunday newspaper, late-night burritos, veggie omelets, business lunches, grilled mushrooms, pretzels, political debate, corn-on-the-cob, classic sci-fi flicks, mixed greens, campfires, salmon, billiards, cherry pie, rock shows, pumpernickel, salsa, grand openings, peanuts, sewing bees, extra sharp cheddar cheese, and holidays.

The result is a sweet, oaky, rich beer that pairs perfectly with breakfast or dessert. *No donuts were harmed in the making of this delicious beer.

D’s Nut Brown Ale

D's Nut Brown is brewed with English Ale yeast. English tradition uses English Fuggle hops, which are low in bitterness and produce a mild floral taste. The complexity of D's Nut Brown is created mainly by the chocolate and dark chocolate malted barley. There is a roasted coffee flavor with hints of nutmeg in the finish. This brew pairs great with a D's pecan wood-smoked steak.

E.

E. is for Edward (1917-2002), my grandfather, as well as the name of the first beer that I brewed in my brewery on March 30, 2010. E. is for Easter; brewing in Denmark revealed a European tradition of crafting Easter (Påske) beer. Thus, in honor of E., to the past and future emprises here on Hill Road, a special first anniversary release. Edward fermented with yeasts of Belgian origin, tank conditioned over four months, dry hopped with Galaxy hops, and bottle conditioned. E is for Entelechy, the continued actualization of our potential through spirited effort and vision. 13ºP 6.2% abv. E. River Collaboration Saison

E River Collaboration Saison is an experimental beer, brewed to help celebrate the grand opening of Whole Foods Market’s River Road location. It is brewed from a relatively straightforward grist of Pale, Munich, and Crystal malts with a healthy dose of Roasted Wheat malt, Roasted Barley, and Oats. It is hopped exclusively with experimental hop #06300, fermented with a traditional Belgian Saison yeast strain, then dry hopped with more 06300. The result is a mangy mutt of an ale — a dark, silky, and pleasantly hoppy Belgian-Style Saison. The relatively high carbonation releases subtle aromas of bitter chocolate, tart fruit, spice, and herbal hops. There’s more of the same in the flavor, with added layers of brown bread, grassy hops, and berry-like tartness. It finishes with a pleasant lingering hoppiness, that leaves you ready for more.

E.S.B Extra Special Bitter

English style ale noted for being of extra strength and hop character as opposed to the regular Bitter or Mild as found in British taverns and pubs. E.S.B.

E.S.B. or Extra Special Bitter, is really a misnomer because bitters are not really bitter at all. Extra Special Bitters have a little more hops than the regular `bitter' style of beer. The color is deep amber and the hops are balanced by the malt to create a smooth and wonderful brew.
