Expo 58

Marking the return of the World’s Fair after World War II, Expo 58 in Brussels brought inspiration, innovation and pleasure to the people of Belgium. With all the flavor, finesse, smoothness, and subtle clove esters of Belgian-style ales, this beer is our way of emerging from winter’s cold occupation.

Exponential Hoppiness

A triple IPA which is deceptively mild for its strength. This Hop Monster starts by using multiple kettle hop additions, with each addition doubling the amount of the previous addition (exponentially). Add in the giant hop-back and the two dry hopping sessions and you’re almost there. The beer is finished off with a couple of “body-bag” sized hop sacks full of hop flowers and oak chips. Then it ages and mellows, diguising the alcohol content for a strong, incredibly hoppy, yet truly enjoyable beer.

Export

Export IPA

Our English Style Export IPA features 100% English hops and a big malt backbone built upon pale and caramel malted barley. The hop varietals, Pilgrim and East Kent Goldings, lend a quality of lemon and spice, which play off of the fruity flavors contributed by the London ale yeast.

This foreign-style stout pours blacker than the blackest black. The roasty, chocolatey, espresso-like notes you expect from a good stout are taken up a notch in this high-gravity brew, also delivering flavors of caramel, leather and a hint of licorice. Surprisingly easy drinking with a nice medium bitterness, this richly-flavored beer has a satisfying clean finish.

Export Stout (1890 London)

Based on a recipe from a London Brewery in 1890. Simple recipe massive taste. Dark, dark black. Oily texture. Loads of rich dried fruit and alcohol warmth rum and raisin. Then a herbal hop bitterness on top of huge lingering espresso. Hints of leather, tar, smoke, vanilla and chocolate. Roasty. Export-Hell

The Export Hell derives its name from the period of time when this beer style was brewed to have more alcohol than the Helles, as the higher alcohol helped preserve the beer from spoiling during "Export" to distant destinations. This full-bodied, smooth straw colored lager has little to no hop aroma. The balance of Hallertau hops and a slight malty-sweet finish will leave you wanting another! Our Export Hell, like all of our beers, is naturally carbonated. This beer can be enjoyed for it's subtle complexities, or mindlessly consumed during great conversation with old and new friends.

Extra Pale Ale

The Extra Pale Ale is a crisp, clean, dry and unmistakably hoppy American-style pale ale. We showcase citrusy Cascade hops from the American northwest for aroma and bittering. You'll enjoy an inviting aroma up front with a refined, smooth, bittering at the finish that doesn't overpower despite the IBU rating. It's "extra" pale because we use less caramel and more pale malt than your typical American pale ale. This imparts a lighter color with a sweet grain aroma and medium body.
