A clean, full flavored and somewhat fruity lager. With a slightly floral aroma, the initial taste of a clean, crisp lager follows with a hoppy, slightly smoky after taste from the Saaz hops that have been late hopped in the brew house.

Fancy Pants is our first collaboration with Holy City Brewing Company out of Charleston, South Carolina. It is a peach ale made with 1,500 pounds of peaches from the Clemson University Musser Experimental Fruit Farm and a bold Belgian yeast. Huge peach pie aroma, smooth and balanced taste.

Once upon a time two chaps who work at Brassneck Brewery, Jeffrey & Nigel found themselves at an illustrious Banquet held by the Chef’s Table Society of British Columbia featuring superstar chef’s from across the land pairing their incredible creations with the finest libations available to mankind. (Okay, okay, it was actually some food trucks in a parking lot serving some good grub & some decent booze). Never mind the setting. What is important, is the revelation. Something new on offer. A delicious hybrid beverage combination the world had never before tried: Horchata Cold Brew Coffee! Can you imagine? It was quite the taste sensation. They were feeling inspired. “The similarity between Cold Brew Coffee & Stout is striking” Exclaimed Jeffrey. “What if, just what if…!” mused Nigel “We could find out what it takes to make authentic, great tasting, horchata & combine those ingredients with a delicious stout”?? “Ooooh! Ooooh!” Squealed Jeffrey with excitement “We could use some really interesting specialty malts like rice, wheat & golden oats. That would really make for some interesting flavours! And let’s back up the body with a little sweetness…hmmm…THAT’S IT! We’ll add lactose, also known as milk sugar to give it that creamy satisfying sweetness we experienced with that Horchata Cold Brew. Now if only we knew the key ingredients to a tasty horchata…”. They set about finding out who was behind this wonderful marriage of deliciousness. It was discovered the good folks over at Kafka’s Cafe on Main Street & the Mexican Maestro’s at local favourite Sal Y Limon had got their noggins together to create this Horchata Cold Brew. They were kind enough to share their recipe secrets, even going so far as make a little cold brew to add for a subtle hint of coffee. Jeffrey & Nigel returned to the brewery, triumphant with an incredible new beer idea. “Fantasmagoria” was born. We think it’s gonna be a hit. (Also, they all lived happily ever after).

Fantastic Voyage is a milk stout brewed with coconut. We also added lactose sugar to give it a creamy mouth feel and a bit of sweetness. The roasted malts and coconut meet the hops bitterness to deliver a full rich finish. Fantastic Voyage has notes of chocolate that make it a great fit for enjoying after dinner with dessert or even a cigar.

It starts with the aroma, a visceral reaction taking you to an island far, far away from the stress and grind of everyday life. Then your palate awakens with rich, smooth malt and a balanced perception of sweetness. And now, no matter where you may actually be… all you can see before you is one fabulous pint of beer, and two figures in white, welcoming you to… Fantasy Island!

Aromas of strawberry and pineapple accentuated by our Trappist yeast will keep you wanting more.

An Australian Pale Ale brewed exclusively with Galaxy hops. It pours light gold and has a hoppy aroma and flavor. Balanced slightly more toward the bitter side, it has notes of tropical fruit and is backed-up by light caramel malts in the background.

A lager brewed using all Munich malt imported from Germany. All Cascade hops.

Fargo Brothers Hefeweizen is brewed in the tradition of a Bavarian-style weißbier with a clove-like flavor and aroma with banana undertones and no bitterness. The unfiltered yeast makes this beer cloudy. The Fargo brothers arrived in Lake Mills in 1845, armed with a strong collective will and a pioneering spirit. The Fargo family became leaders in commerce, industry, agriculture, civics and religion. Through the years, these hard working men and their families shaped the character and very essence of our beautiful hometown. Their legacy endures in the buildings and businesses they built and the civility they brought to this city. In this same pioneering spirit, we brew our Fargo Brothers Hefeweizen to honor this "first family" of Lake Mills.

When you're working on the farm and water just won't quench your thirst, grab yourself a Farm Boy. This crisp, refreshing and effervescent brew is the quint essential farmhouse ale. In Belgium, these ales were created by farmers and according to Phil Markowski, "It was brewed for a basic purpose—to refresh, sustain and comfort a hard-working body and mind". We couldn't agree more and that's why it's our Head Brewer's go to beer after a long day on the farm. Hopped with CTZ, Centennial and Cascade, 6.3% a.b.v. and 32 IBU's. *NOTE* This ale is unfiltered to retain the maximum amount of flavor possible. Also, filtering this beer would be blasphemous!
