FSB..ESB…what is it with all these Fuggin’ letters? Fuggin’ Special Bitter honors the tradition of those champion ESB’s (Extra Special Bit­ter) of Great Britain with the use of classic U.K. fuggle (pronounced FUG-el) hops. The rich caramel color immediately tells you that this is indeed a “special” ale. Earthy and mellow. Toasty and fruity. Any bitterness is smartly balanced by a smooth malt finish. Just like the wildly popular ESB pub staples in England, Fuggin’ Special Bitter pairs perfectly with the lively conversation and fellowship you will find in our very own brewpub. NOTE: This Fuggin’ recipe is a collaboration between FSB Brewmaster Darren Link and fellow FSB member-owner Pat Santucci, which demonstrates the power of fellowship this ale has inspired in beer drinkers for centuries. An English IPA brewed with all English specialty malts, hops and yeast. This is a crisp, clean IPA featuring the woodsy, spicy, and fruity flavors of Fuggles and East Kent Golding hops. Before opening Arbor Brewing Company in 1995, founders Matt & Rene Greff went on a “fact finding” trip to England and Ireland and fell under the spell of English ales. Like old world wines that value terroir over the bigger flashier palates of their American counterparts, English ales tend toward a subtle sophistication and shine a soft spotlight on earthy old-world hop varietals. The Fuggles and Goldings is sort of a tribute beer paying homage to this tradition.

With beginnings reminiscent of a Bohemian pilsner, this bountiful craft lager is a refreshingly hoppy Northwest experience.

The Story: Celebrating the return of the warm season as the snows recede up the mountainsides. The Beer: Pilsen, Caramel, and CaraPils create a traditional German lager along with Tettnanger hops and German lager yeast.

This dark beer is brewed in the style of those beers from the Baltic Sea region in Europe specifically Poland. It is full and rich with slight caramel and current notes and a little bit of roasted grain at the end. It is low to moderately hopped and is sure to please the European beer connoisseur.

While celebrating our win of three Gold medals, two Silver medals and “Large Brewpub of the Year at the 2006 Great American Beer Festival, one of our fans said, “Three golds and two silvers, that’s a full house!” This huge win inspired our brewers to come up with a celebration beer, and Full House was born! Full House has a dark red-brown color, a solid foundation of caramel and cocoa-like chocolate malt, and a pronounced floral Northwest hop character. Full-bodied and full of flavor, Full House finishes clean, balanced, warming and satisfying.

A dark roasty porter body is the backbone for TBBC’s signature subtropical porter. This beer displays a beautiful blend of banana, vanilla and roasted malts, making it easy to drink, and satisfying on even the hottest Florida day. The Full Moon Madness marks the 20th anniversary of TBBC.

Our Tripel is strong but it has a relatively light body and that signature Belgian character you get from the yeast. Belgians traditionally use “candi sugar” to increase alcohol but not increase the body. We make our own candi sugar from organic cane sugar which lends a very slight sweetness to this beer that may make you howl at the moon!

To call Nelson Sauvin an aggressive hop would be a vast understatement. What would happen if you made a DIPA that featured this hop??? Over 10 lbs./bbl of hops went into this gem of a DIPA. A ridiculous level of hop aroma, followed by a hop flavor that is literally juicy in texture. The bitterness is undefinable, just unreal. If our Elevated IPA is on the hoppy side of the aisle for you, stay away. If you drink that beer and think to yourself in Homer Simpson’s voice, “That’s kinda hoppy… I guess…” prepare to meet your match. This beer is gonna put the beat down. Will you tap out before you finish the pint?

The simple malt bill gives an ABV of 5.8% which carries the flavour and really allows the hops to shine through. The hops used are of American origin, Colombus, El Dorado and Cascade (45 IBU). With multiple generous additions in the kettle and further dry hopped before it reaches you as fresh as it can be
