A classic Belgian style Dubbel with notes of dried fruits and chocolate emanate from the glass. Pleasant flavors of Plum, Dates, and Raisins hit the palate with an undertone of chocolate and bready notes. Lingering finish holds similar flavors to the palate, with a more accentuated bready note.

This easy drinking brew was the first born of our Flagships. Patients is key in the development this fine lager that we condition cold for three weeks to yield a one of a kind Pilsner. Loaded with copious amounts of Horizon, Mt. Hood and Saaz hops all added late in the boil. Additionally, we dry hop post fermentation to showcases a beautifully balanced hop profile with moderate bitterness. Floral, zesty and quenching, this is the one to be had all year long, anytime of day, everyday!

Evil Cousin is Heretic's take on a West coast imperial IPA. This beer is a bold, in-your-face hop monster. It has a light, easy drinking malt character that allows the hops to stand out. The hop character in this beer is intentionally on the dank side; big, sticky, and aggressive. This beer is for those of you who can't get enough hops. Join us on the dank side.

Evil Owl is a moderately hopped American style Amber Ale. Evil Owl Amber's hop aroma and taste comes from the use of full flavored American style hops. The use of crystal and caramunich malts give this amber a pleasant malt flavor initially and subsides into a smooth caramel afterthought. This amber is moderately carbonated and has a full body mouth feel. These features coupled with the hop aroma makes this beer an exceptional example of an American Style Amber Ale.

This blood-red IPA may not be what you might expect from a malty and hoppy craft beer. Evil Twin has a rich malt character, without being overly sweet. It has a huge hop character, without being overly bitter. It is a great example of a bold, rich, balanced craft beer, without being heavy and hard to drink in quantity. Our Evil Twin is only bad because it is too good to resist.

A traditional Belgian-style ale with delicate, yet refreshing notes of lemon and pepper.

Tasting Notes: Nose: Citrus and straw. Palate: West coast hop flavours greet the palate. Primarily grapefruit and gooseberry, with a mild grass and spice note from the Amarillo hops. Light yet present malt tastes move in behind. The beer finishes crisp and dry, with a very mild training bitterness. Other Notes: First off this beer is not a traditional IPA, so those expecting a huge nit of bitterness will be disappointed. Session IPAs are lighter bodied and lighter in alcohol than a normal American IPA. Hop, and bitterness is used in beer to balance the alcohol. In a beer with a lower abv, the IBU must be lower as well in order for the beer to maintain its balance. In a session IPA very little bittering hop is used. Hops are added very late in the brewing process to create a strong aroma and flavour profile. This style is intended to a hop forward light beer, something that is well suited to the patio and hot weather. The session in the name refers to this style being a beer that one could consume in larger amounts due to the lower alcohol content.

Although usually identified with landfills and pipelines, the Hackensack Meadowlands is an amazingly diverse ecosystem providing vital animal and plant habitat. In a nod to a once common food plant here, we’ve brewed this beer with wild rice. We also added organic brown and white rice, as well as pils and pale malts. Rice helps the beer ferment dry to better showcase the five different hops we added. Lots and lots of them. We then dry-hopped this Double IPA with even more–generous additions of Chinook and Citra hops to create a nose that hints at tangerine, mango, papaya and pine. This beer pairs extremely well with spicy foods and all kinds of seafood. And of course, it’s quite enjoyable all by itself. American hops are front and center here, but this beer won’t punch you in the face with bitterness. Rather ES accentuates hop flavor and aroma while balancing malt and hops. Brewed and dry hopped with Ahtanum, Amarillo, Cascade, Citra and Simcoe hops.

Its malt lends a chocolate and coffee flavor Our porter is a degree less intense than our stout. It is a dark ale with a malty ?avor and strong hop character, this brew is always on tap at Altitude.

Trendy, retro pilsner. This beer is very drinkable due to its relatively low alcohol content and its dry, extra thirst-quenching aftertaste.

Roasted barley, coffee, and dark fruit dominate the aroma of this high-gravity version of the traditional dry stout. Originally brewed for tropical markets, the Foreign Extra Stout is easy drinking due to its light body and dry finish. Don’t let the pitch-black color fool you; this is truly a “session” ale good for any season.

Our Belgian-style Extra Pale Ale is brewed with heaps of sweet Mandarin oranges from Blossom Bluff Farms and California two-row barley. We dry-hop with generous doses of aromatic Cascade and Columbus hops and finish the beer with a hint of lightly toasted American oak. Enjoyed best with your favorite seasonal fare.

We tend to do things a little differently here at Ritual, so when the call came in to make a new style Red ale, we immediately deferred to the full-flavored segment of the taste spectrum. We certainly didn’t skimp on the malts (after all, we used eight different varieties), giving this beer a multi-layered complexity of caramel and toffee. Balancing out the malty backbone required hops, hops and even a few more hops. The result is a rich, layered, full-bodied beer bringing together a classically complex malt backbone with an assertive West Coast finish.

Our first ever and most beloved brew, ESA helped establish a following for cask-conditioned beer in the United States back in the ‘90s. East Kent Golding hops give this English style ale a subtle spiciness, which compliments its strong malt backbone. Hints of chocolate and caramel round out this deep chestnut colored ale.
