A cornucopia of hop varieties imparts a floral-citrus aroma and a crisp bitterness to this medium-bodied ale. Concocted from Pilsen and a dash of Caramel malts, this burnished-golden brew has a sweet malt backbone for balance.

El Guapo, translated “the handsome one,” looks sexy, smells beautiful, and feels great! El Guapo is a medium-bodied Agave India Pale Ale with grassy citrus nose, notes of sweet caramel, and finishing with a smooth but strong bitterness.

Brewed with a combination of wheat and barley, weiss beers are among the most distinctive ales made in the world. With a light palate with a rich body and fruity tones, weiss beers are enjoyed both as transition beers and as a special treat for enthusiasts. El Hefe combines wheat, Munich malt and American 2-Row malt. This Bavarian-style wheat beer is unfiltered and is traditionally served with a wedge of lemon. Lemon squeezed over a glass of El Hefe contrasts nicely with the clove and banana scents. The Weinstephan yeast that we use really gives El Heffe a classic Bavarian appeal. Available on draught year ‘round.

This beautiful straw-colored Hefeweizen has a distinct opaque appearance. The notes of coconut and banana perfectly compliment this light-bodied concoction.

Crafted in the spirit of thirst quenching Mexican lagers, this well balanced amber lager is crisp with just a suggestion of caramel.

A robust porter, the initial taste brings pleasant chocolate and roasted coffee flavors and is bold yet creamy. As it warms, it opens up to a pronounced sweetness and rich caramel note.

We break craft beer convention by unabashedly brewing beer with corn. El Toro is a lager-like classic American cream ale brewed with malted barley, hops, yeast, water…and Carolina roasted corn grits. Sometimes you just want a “beer beer.” El Toro is a spring and summer seasonal, though it will generally be available on-tap at our tavern.

Electric Peel is an electric IPA that sends shocks of citrus hop flavors through a medium malt body amplified by grapefruit peel, leaving behind a bittersweet finish.

Meant to be enjoyed in a cracked leather chair in a smoke-filed, dimly lit jazz club, this big, dark stout accentuated by roasted malt goes down smoothly. Flaked oats, rye and wheat give the lightly smoked beer a refreshing full-bodied flavor. Take a sip, relax and let it wash over you.

Our ESB is a 2014 bronze medal winner in the Los Angeles International Commercial Beer Competition. Malt forward with a good balance of english hops.

This beer is crafted in the style of ales sent to India to keep British troops happy while they occupied India. It was brewed to be very bitter and alcoholic so that it could withstand the agitation and extreme temperatures of a long journey by ship. The preservative and stabilizing effect of increased hops and alcohol were necessary for the ale to arrive in good condition. IPA is our most popular beer and is now available in 22oz bottles!

This west coast style IPA is our tribute to Norse and their quests and adventures. ELLIDA was a legendary magic dragon ship also known as the first ship of the north. This Viking ale is brewed with loads of hops and balanced out with 5 varieties of malts. Local malt from Riverbend Malthouse is used to add to the flavor complexity.

Our goal is a moderate level of hop bitterness that carries over a soft hop aroma. We are trying some new American hops - primarily Apollo and Bravo - that give some interesting notes of flavor.
