Fresh raspberries are added to Doc's Draft Hard Apple Cider and re-fermented to create a delicious spin on traditional cider. We think you'll agree that you can really taste the fresh fruit used in making this cider.
A Baltimore Beer Week 2012 collaboration with our favorite gypsy, Mr. Brian Strumke, the man behind Stillwater Artisanal Ales. Hard Times is a full bodied, fruity saison brewed with a just a kiss of malt that was smoked over plum-wood by our friends at local BBQ & Biscuit pop-up, Blacksauce Kitchen. Hard Times features a touch of white pepper and smoke in the nose followed by peach, clove and hay notes on the palate.
An American style Imperial IPA brewed with Citra, Simcoe, Columbus, Cascade and Mosaic hops. Hardcore Chimera is then dry hopped with over a pound of hops per BBL. Ringing in with over 80 IBU's, Hardcore Chimera's intense aroma and flavor of passion fruit and citrus is balanced out against a hearty grain bill that lends to the beer's deceptively drinkable 9% ABV
This Australian "Session Ale" is an Imperial IPA made showcasing the new Australian hop varieties of Summer, Ella and Helga and makes light of Session IPAs. Harden the Hop Up is a beer in honor of Gangster Chopper Read and Comic Ronnie Johns. Chopper was one of Australia's most notorious criminals who infamously cut off his own ears to win a bet and obtain a prison transfer, and Ronnie does a great impression of him. “I’m sorry, is your pewny little IPA under 5%? Harden the Hop Up!”
While this beer may be slightly more hop forward than many copper ales, it is designed to showcase the malt character more than anything. Great on the patio in the afternoon or to warm up on a cold night.
An American style Pale Ale. All of our ingredients are grown domestically and are
guaranteed fresh. It is golden to pale in color with a medium hop bitterness and aroma.
Made in the spirit of a classic Northern English Brown Ale, where British hops and malts dominate. Notes of breadcrust, toffee, nuts, and coffee give way to a clean, light finish. For us at Moody Ales, the Hardy Brown Ale is the perfect punctuation to a long day - we put away a lot of this beer while we built our brewery in the summer of 2014. A full flavoured beer for a full day's work.
Harimanna, German for warrior maiden, is a refreshing spin on a historic style. It pours slightly hazy and has a pale, golden color with an off-white head that dissipates quickly. Harimanna’s light body allows the refreshingly tart flavor to shine but still allows a slight sweet and bready malt profile to give some balance. The first sip will impale you with a sharp sour flavor but will give way to a creamy mouthfeel filled with complex characteristics of lemon and citrus fruit. The beer finishes slightly dry and leaves a bright, lingering sensation of sour and lemon that will keep you coming back for more.
Basic ingredients: cocoa, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. Malts: American Two-Row, Dextrine Malt, Crystal 60, Flaked Oats, Roasted Barley. A fall beer available from October-Decembers.
This fine vanilla porter is our way of honoring 1st LT Harley Pope. He crashed and died at the Cape Fear River in Jan 1919 while on a mapping expedition in the Curtiss Jenny.
