As with all Gueuzes, Hanssens is a mixture of several vintages to produce a lambic which is refreshingly fruity. This is the result of blending different lambics of different ages. The second fermentation takes place inside the bottles and therefore they are stored for minimum six months in constant temperature kept cellars.

Our wort is soured with five strains of natural, probiotic bacteria that produce pleasantly tart levels of lactic acid. Once the baseline sourness is established, we take the wort through a normal fermentation just like any other beer, and condition this particular one on passion fruit, orange and guava puree.

Happiness is a choice. Rich maltiness and peppery rye blend to set the stage for the four different hops that push the IBU’s while keeping a bold, sweet body with just a hint of sour. In the spectrum of Longstreet to Double Dragon, this Rye IPA definitely keeps it “in the family”. Pairs with a wide variety of cuisine, but shines with smoky and peppery meats and cheeses.

The ultimate tribute to the Cistercian monks of Belgium! This light bodied, pale beer is bursting with fruity esters and spicy phenolics. Apple and pear aromas combine with banana to produce a complex aromatic bouquet, while light pepper and clove spiciness give this beer a bite at the finish. This beer will deceive you with its high alcohol content. Dangerously drinkable!

Happy Camper IPA is a classic beer for those beer lovers who love their hops. By masterfully combining several different hops with a very specific brewing process, we ended up with a beautifully balanced IPA. Full-bodied maltiness combined with a spicy, citric, and floral hop character, make this IPA one of our most popular beers. It's great for camping in the mountains, in the backyard, or on a bar stool.

An updated version of a Midwestern Pale. We used an abundance of American hops to give the aroma of dried orange and earthy apricot. While the rich grainy malt character acts as the perfect backbone to compliment the crisp hoppy deliciousness. Happy Face was made to be an evolved version and tribute to the great American Pale Ales that started this wonderful craft beer scene 30+ years ago. It’s named in honor of one of the brewery’s dearest friends and biggest supporters.

Silas Dent lived a simple and happy life on Cabbage Key in a hut made of palm fronds, surrounded by mangroves and wildlife with no running water and no electricity. In 1948 Dent was featured in LIFE magazine, who named him “The Happy Hermit of Cabbage Key.” It was said that Dent could forecast the weather, calculate the temperature, and commune with Poseidon himself. Before his death at the age of 76 in 1952, Dent claimed that “civilization is too dangerous.” Our Happy Hermit Pale Ale is a sessionable, hop forward approach to the style that is a perfect match for a breezy St. Petersburg afternoon, and like Silas, is one of a kind.

Hi-Wire and Asheville Brewing teamed up to brew a beer to ring in the New Year. “Happy New Beer” is a Honey Red Ale made with Riverbend malt, over 50 lbs. of orange blossom honey and a unique malt from Canada that tastes like, you guessed it, honey. With an ABV of 7.6%, Happy New Beer is a malty and aromatic brew hopped with French Aramis hops which impart floral notes that meld deliciously with all the tasty malt and honey. Start 2015 off with a brew worth celebrating!
