Helles Yes! (Munich Helles - Pale Bavarian Lager)

Munich Helles is the go to everyday beer in Bavaria. Ours is brewed to a slightly higher than normal alcohol level but is still extremely easy drinking. Made from German Pilsner malt and Magnum hops we use a traditional German lager yeast in combination with an extended cold conditioning phase to give this beer a great crisp finish. Prost!

Hellfighter Imperial Porter

From the depths of the earth leap flames of destruction. When time is of the essence, the Hellfighter boldly steps in the line of danger. Whether or not he’s insane is not important now. It’s with intensity and aggression that the Hellfighter taunts the blaze of almost certain doom. Our Imperial Porter is much the same. At 9.5% ABV and black as oil, Hellfighter Imperial Porter, with roasted coffee and chocolate malt characteristics, finishes what it started. This explosion of flavors will extinguish even a Texas-sized penchant for boldness. Intense and maybe a little insane, drink carefully but drink often. Blaze on!

Hellhound On My Ale

2011 marks the 100th birthday of Mississippi Delta bluesman Robert Johnson who, according to legend, sold his soul down at the crossroads in a midnight bargain and changed music forever. Working again with our friends at Sony Legacy (yup, the same folks we did our Miles Davis-inspired Bitches Brew with), Dogfish Head pays tribute to this blues legend by gettin the hellhounds off his trail and into this finely-crafted ale. Hellhound is a super-hoppy ale that hits 100 IBUs in the brewhouse, 10.0 ABV, 10.0 SRM in color, and dry-hopped with 100% centennial hops at a rate of 100 kilos per 100 barrel brew-length. Can you tell we at Dogfish are stoked for this mighty musical centennial? To accentuate and magnify the citrusy notes of the centennial hops (and as a shout out to Robert Johnsons mentor Blind Lemon Jefferson) we add dried lemon peel and flesh to the whirlpool.

Hellion

Our interpretation of a Belgian style Golden Ale is delightfully approachable and utterly devious. Brewed with the finest Belgian 2-row malt and a blend of traditional and new-world hops, it has extraordinary fruity and spicy aromas with mouth filling flavors of sweet malt and earthy hops. The lingering finish is dry and slightly bitter but very, very smooth.

Hello my name is Vladimir

Hello, my name is Vladimir. I am a beer for uber hetero men who ride horses while topless and carrying knives. I am a beer to mark the 2014 Winter Olympics. But I am not for gays. Love wrestling burly men on the Judo mat or fishing in your Speedos? Then this is the beer for you! The sick, twisted legislation brought about in Russia that prevents people from living their true lives is something we didn't want to just sit back and not have an opinion on. Our core beliefs are freedom of expression, freedom of speech and a dogged (no pun intended) passion for doing what we love. Thus, we are donating 50% of the profits from this beer to charitable organisations that support like minded individuals wishing to express themselves freely without prejudice. This beer is a double IPA brewed with Limonnik berries. We heard they're great for improving sexual performance, so we've sent a case to the Kremlin as we suspect there is someone there who would appreciate a little helping hand.

Hellshire IV is a blended ale with some beers aged for over one year in freshly emptied bourbon, whiskey, and brandy barrels. Our brewers artfully blended 5 different beers into an Old Ale or Barleywine type beer. Notes of vanilla, cinnamon, mild roasted coffee, oak tannins, & bourbon intertwine with the beers’ complex malt and yeast flavors.

Hellwoods

Russian Imperial Stout This is an unapologetic beer. Dark, viscous, bitter, and rich — it's a dangerous elixir of love. Originally developed by English brewers in the 18th century for export to the court of Catherine the Great in Russia, our interpretation of the style would surely make lady C proud. We’ve waited our whole lives to brew a beer with such bravado, and it always sells out faster than we can supply the next batch. Some people claim that imperial stouts are only for the dead of winter, but we feel that this sidekick is there for you, anytime you call.

Helmuth Kellerbier

We have always childish and thought that all the people in the world are equal. We don’t believe in opposites or “us vs. them” -ideology. We don’t think there is such a big difference between black and white. And we certainly don’t think ours is bigger than yours. Helmuth Kellerbier is a crisp, über-hoppy thirst-quencher based on the European tradition, executed in the New World way – big, bold and loaded with beautiful HOPS! Inspired by the life and times of the legendary “Helmuth of Finland” this beer is a manifestation of all the good things in life, and is dedicated to all the good people in the whole wide world. Let us come together in Peace.

Helvick Gold Irish Blonde

This is a refreshing blonde ale generously hopped to give bitterness and aroma that packs a punch! Our blonde ale is not a bland ale, there is a complexity at play here with a fruity aroma balanced by a hoppiness that makes it a slightly challenging but still quite easy to drink beer. Helvick is a great summer’s day drink, perfect for cracking out at the barbeque. Enjoy at cellar temperature (8—14°C) or cooler for a great warm weather thirst quencher. It’s an excellent beer to pair with food and works particularly well with spicy food. This and all our beers contain a vitamin-rich yeast sediment in the bottle which is a by-product of the natural carbonation that occurs in the bottle. To pour a clear pint, pour out in one go and leave the last drop in the bottle. However, this is purely for aesthetic reasons and the sediment is absolutely fine to drink.
