Honey Bragget

Akin to a barley wine, we suggest this ale as an after dinner drink. It has a truly unique & sophisticated flavor due to the use of wildflower honey as the catalyst for the production of alcohol. We simply use pale malt and a very small amount of Target hops in this Belgian style ale. The bulk of the body, color and sweetness come from the 2,000 lbs. of honey we add to the boil. The Brother is cellared for up to a year before it is bottled, which helps to marry the flavors and create the complex palate in this Bragget.

Honey Britches Ale

With spring comes new life, a rebirth of color from flowers blooming. Bees gracefully fly from bloom to bloom, gathering sweet nectar and return it to the hive. Sweet and floral honey is then gathered by our friends at Gerard’Z Honeybees and used to make our Honey Britches. Light and crisp with the unmistakable flavor of fresh honey makes this the perfect spring beer. .

Honey Brown Lager

Smooth Sleeman Honey Brown Lager is brewed in the tradition of cottage breweries at the turn of the century. Some might think the tradition is outdated; we just think we got it right the first time. Tasting notes: Our Honey Brown boasts a rich copper with a creamy, off-white foam, creating a full-bodied lager with a touch of natural honey and a slightly sweet finish. The distinctive clover honey notes in this fine brew accent the aromas of toasted grain and caramel.

Honey Cream Ale

This is one of our favorites. In Western New York, cream ale is known as a bit of a “dirty word”. Despite the somewhat negative connotation, we decided to take a shot at this American style ale. A delicious brew indeed! With a wonderful amber color and beautiful head, it really is the quintessential beer. We continue to refine this recipe in search of the perfect balance of flavors. Don’t be surprised to see this cream ale make our opening cut!

Honey Cream Ale

Honey Cream Ale is fermented warm like traditional cream ales but features an added twist--wildflower honey from Oregon. Honey imparts a dry, refreshing character to the beer because it ferments almost completely. The honey comes from a beekeeper in Blodgett, a tiny town 20 miles east of Newport. Rogues Honey Cream Ale is a light, smooth, medium bodied ale, with a creamy head, hints of honey and a crisp light finish. Brewed with two-row Harrington, Klages and Munich malts and Crystal hops. Discontined for distribution in late 2005, available on tap only at Rogue Ales Public Houses.
