The pleasantly hops-rich taste (IBU = 42) is provided by Zeus and Magnum bitter hops. Spalter Select and Cascade aroma hops provide the enjoyable aroma. We recommend serving at temperatures between 10°C and 12°C.

Brewed as an over the top high gravity American Wheat ale, Humboldt Haze pours a deep burnished golden orange with a brilliant white head. Bounteous aromas of exotic tropical fruits and citrus reign, while a subtle balm of toasted wheat and caramel malts heighten anticipation of the first sip. Resinous explosions of hop bitterness are soothed and harmonized by the silky characters of light, sweet wheat and mild caramel flavors. Then it’s on to a massive fruity cornucopia of citrus, passion fruit, mango and papaya with hints of white grape, lychee and pine. A German Oktoberfest style brewed with an ale yeast celebrating Autumn harvest. A deep orange color and smooth malty body highlight this drinkable German favorite. Made with German Pilsner, Vienna, and Munich Malts. Lightly hopped with Perle and Tettnang.

Notes: Humidity is an unfiltered, modern pale ale brewed with locally farmed and malted Triticale and barley from Durham-based Epiphany Craft Malt. Hazy and straw-colored with a light white head. Humidity is a hazy beer with a resinous, piney, and tropical aroma. The palate finishes dry with hints of spice and biscuit and a pleasant, sticky citrus hop presence, giving way to earth and fruit.

This bold, frothy, effervescent ale, with hints of citrus, finds its name throughout English literature that might just as well describe its taste, its history, or just how it makes you feel. The recipe for Humming ® Ale and its resulting flavor, owe much to the traditional methods used to make our Liberty Ale®. Both are brewed using pale malt, a natural carbonation process called “bunging,” and dry-hopping, but the unique flavor profile of Humming comes from a distinctive hop from New Zealand called Nelson Sauvin. Humming is an ancient beer term, found everywhere from Robin Hood to Herman Melville, used to describe a strong, effervescent ale with a lot of character or just in praise of a truly good beer. Originally created to celebrate our 30th anniversary of our Mariposa Street location, it is now available each July – November, Humming has quickly become a classic that lives up to its name. This smoked red ale was created to compliment our head brewer’s second passion: a rack of ribs fresh out of the smoker. It is inspired by his favorite brown sugar rub and the smoke that wafts through the air at a lazy weekend BBQ. Layers of malt and caramel unfold as it warms while notes of beechwood smoke hang around through the whole experience.

Prost! Our festbier lager has finally arrived! Named in honor of the beautiful view majestic Humpback Mountain offers our brewery to the Southwest, Humpbock is the quintessential Fall brew. Once served in Munich for the celebration of Crown Prince Ludwig’s wedding, Oktoberfest lager (also called Märzenbier, as it is brewed in March for a Fall release) has become a traditional September-October beer the world over. Our version uses the eponymous Munich malt in combination with Pils and Vienna malts and is hopped exclusively with the noble Hallertau variety hop. Deep malty flavors dominate this quaffable beer. 26 IBUs.

This is a small beer with a BIG attitude. Consider this the counterpoint to many beer drinker's recent interest in "extreme beers". Our notion was to take a small, light beer and pack it with flavor and personality.
